Do you think its kind of weird how language is so close to magic

What are some funny or witty responses for when someone ask you 'how are you' or 'how's it going'?

"I'm alright, slight bruises here and there, nothing i can't handle.

And yes the interrogation is going well, thanks for asking. It got a bit bloody. The guy is tenacious, I'm finding it hard to subdue him in spite of battering him so much.

Hey, wait a minute. How did you know what we were up to? Nobody was supposed to know.

Why don't you accompany me for uh... hmm... lunch... it's been a long time i think,
We have lots ummm..... "catching up" to do. What do you say?"

Do you think it's kind of weird how language is so close to magic?

In other languages different co-incidences apply.

And note that "sentence" in the sense of a court sentence has no connection with "sin" which is a religious concept.

What sort of "wards" do you have in mind? Wards as in a hospital, or as in people looked after?

Vows - vowels? The only connection is that both are words.

Similarly cursive and curse. What is the connection?

"Para" as in military parachutist?

Your mind obviously makes connections which are not obvious to mere mortals!

Do you say "I love you" to your dog?

I talk to my poodle all day long, I love talking to her. My baby understands alot b/s I talk to her. I tell my baby I love her about 10x's a day (no kidding). My husband & I can't have children so our poodle is NOT our dog--she's our little GIRL. My husband tells her also how much he loves her. We buy her gifts every other week, she's our baby. I even talk to her in french, well certain words --she knows about 9 words so far. My 1st poodle before she died knew 15words in french. So don't give up--keep talking to your baby.

So don't feel weird telling your baby how much you love him, you just have a big heart w/ alot of love to give. Dogs do understand what you're telling them--the more you talk to them the more their mind will open up. Dogs need more than just petting --- they need alot of vocal attention

You're not crazy enjoy your baby--hope my answer helps you--wish you well w/ your baby

Why do Mormons wear magic mormon underoos?

Graydon, why do you have this strange activity in yet another guy's undies? The question has been asked and spoke back, repeatedly, here. No member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wears "magic mormon underoos". As others have mentioned, repeatedly, person contributors of my faith who're truly committed to the reason of Jesus Christ acquire an ordinance in the temple, and are thereafter allowed the blessing of wearing temple clothing. They remind us of the solemn covenants we've made to Christ. Others positioned on uniforms or clothing that outwardly reflects their dedication to a rustic, military, faith or reason. We positioned on those symbols of dedication inwardly.

1.I have a tendency to kick people by accident. I'm usually dancing at inconvenient spots. If you're a victim reading this answer, I'm super sorry and I'll try not to kick you in the future!
