Have you accepted the fact that you re going to die

At what age do you accept the fact you're going to die soon?

Some of us don't realize how close death really is until a spontaneous life changing event finally scares the crap out of us!

I've been a EMT since the age of 19 and I have seen many unfortunate events. The day I cracked my father's chest doing cpr, was the day I realized how close the grim reaper was to my front door..

Live life to the fullest every day my friend, don't let the fear of the death stop you from achieving your goals and realizing your dreams.

You're awesome remember that!

Have you accepted the fact that you're going to die?

Yes. But don't get me wrong, the entire idea of dying still freaks me out a little bit. It's mostly fear of the unknown. And I also worry about the circumstances of how I'll die. I don't wanna die in an agonizing, painful, or terrifying manner. I can only hope that my death is quick and painless. And I also worry about dying with the feeling of being unsatisfied or incomplete. But then again, it's not something that I try to dwell on. As humans, we can't control death's arrival. We can only try to be cautious and avoid death for as long as possible. But eventually, one day, we'll all die. The concept of death is kind of beautiful and yet disturbing all at the same time. One positive aspect about death is the idea of going to 'the other side' and finally getting the opportunity to see what happens to us after death. That part sort of intrigues me. But I'm still alive, so I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there...metaphorically speaking.

I can't get over the fact that everyone is going to die someday. No one is going to live forever. What should I do to accept the fact?

Death is transformation/change.  Look around you in nature for understanding this concept:

Mother dog gives lives to puppy. Puppy transforms into dog. And than some day dog dies.

Small leafs come out of the grass, grows into flower and than after some time flower will stop giving juice and would die.

First - eggs comes than Larvae comes out, than transforms into butterfly. Eventually after learning and evolving dies.

Different tree have different ages. Tree will stand as long as it can and soon they will die without confronting.

After winter summer comes and is followed by monsoon. Does not remain stagnant.

Rule of life is transformation. When you came out of your mother you were small baby. But see now you have grown - you are young, energetic, rational etc. Can you stop yourself from growing. You like it or not you are moving towards death. When we are in womb we confront to come out because that is one kind of death. After baby we grow into adults we don't like this change and we say I was happy in my school days. Why because we don't like this transformation - if there is no transformation this trees would remain small or would never grow, flower would keeping giving juice to honey bee, winter will remain throughout not followed by summer or monsoon, you and I would remain same - not growing, might remain baby or might stay forever in the womb.

Actually transformation is growth. Growth is evolution. Evolution is end of life.

If there was no transformation than life would have been boring. Everything would be static not changing. Whoever made us is not so dumb. He is far beyond our reach.

Thus I believe transformation is essence of life. Our death is transformation into some other being.

I do not promote anything here. I tried by best to explain the answer. Its my belief and I respects other peoples belief as well.
