A Christmas Story Karaoke Cd

A Christmas Story Karaoke CD?

Hi!
I'm a theatre director. My students are performing 'Somewhere Hovering Over Indiana' from A Christmas Story. I can not seem to find a karaoke track of the song. Do you know where I may find one? I don't care if it costs money. Or do you know where I can find the whole 'A Christmas Story' karaoke CD? Thank you SO much!

What are some examples of Christmas gifts you'd buy for a friend's kids if you secretly wanted to torture your friend?

Great question. As a happy uncle (who would never try these), I would say:1. One of the many toy piano gifts. Bonus points if you pick a very sturdy one, and one where the battery casing is shielded to make removing the batteries harder. Extra bonus points if you pick one where pressing a single button can make it play a full song. Kids might eventually tire of a self-operated instrument, but the pre-recorded song ones will last much longer. 2. A dvd of a movie or kids tv show, or cd of a children's musician, that you know the parent hates. 3. A game for a video game machine where the kid does not yet have the game machine (ex. Playstation game, kid doesn't have a Playstation yet). 4. Candy. The parents might veto caffinated drinks, but candy with a high sugar and caffine content can sometimes sneak by. 5. For older kids, a book on what puberty means. 6. Tickets to a "performers on Ice" show.

Which Kaanda and Shloka is the phrase "Janani Janma Bhumishcha Swargadapi Gariyasi" in Valmiki Ramayana?

Wonder why was KANNADA brought into this question !The shloka is from Ramayan by Sage WalmikiLord Rama uttered this while addressing his younger brother Lakshmana after their victory over the Rakshasa (demon) kingRavana. After the victory Vibheeshana invited the Vaanara sena, Rama and Lakshmana to enter the Lanka city and be his guests for some time..The entire shloka is as follows.अपि स्वर्णमयी लङ्ा न मे लक्ष्मण रोचते जननी जन्मभूमिश्च स्वर्गादपि गरीयसी"Lakshmana, even this golden Lanka does not appeal to me, mother and motherland are greater than heaven."Most probably, Karnataka (I am a proud Kannadiga) is very clultural based state, l remember hearing, reciting such wonderful sanskrit shlokas in my school days, in leisure hours, gap periods we even memorised Bhagawat geeta !Wonderful were those days ! and of course KARNATAKA !

When writing “it is Thomas's birthday”, what is the correct punctuation?

Interesting timing, this question, given that Eve and I were just recently working on edits to a book when this question came up for us.In the past, the generally accepted preferred form for using a possessive when the person’s name ends in the letter S has just been to use an apostrophe: “It is Thomas’ birthday.” It was also considered correct to use an apostrophe S, as in “It is Thomas’s birthday,” but the apostrophe alone was the preferred form, and it's what most grammar classes taught and most editorial style guides recommended. However, just recently, several popular style guides such as the Chicago Manual of Style have done an about face. The newest edition of the Chicago Manual and the APA style guide now recommend the apostrophe S as the preferred style: “It is Thomas’s birthday.”

Where can I get the Jawbreakers script?

I'm throwing a party with some of my friends, it's a long story, but we need the script for the 1999 film Jawbreakers. It needs to be free. It would be nice if the script said who was speaking.

Also, if you can find any other scripts that have at least three main girl parts, please let me know.
Please help me!
