A Computer Game I Used To Play In School And It Has To Do With A Bug And Dinosaurs Could Y

When was the first time you used a computer and what did you do on the computer?

The first time I used a computer would be when I was 6. This was in 1999 at my father's office. I suppose it was a way for him to keep me distracted while he was supposed to watch me. I do not know the make, but I do know I aced NFS II on it. I still regard it as the sole reason the McLaren F1 is my grail car (even though as of now, I've only seen one example) Oh and Delta Force was another game I wasted my evenings on on weekends. The first computer we had at home was when I was 12. This was an LG myPC. I still remember the specs, because when the dealer came to our home to ask what we wanted, my grandparents just pointed at me even though I knew Zilch about computers at that point. I just went with the best options he said he had at his shop. It came with 256MB of memory, an 80GB hdd and an AMD because his shop didn't stock pentiums for whatever reason. What did I do on that? For a long time nothing much really. More games. I had moved on to NFS Underground and GTA Vice City at this point. That was till we got the holy grail of broadband which came a year later.I suppose that was the sole reason I have a degree in computers now. I broke it with Ubuntu which still shipped as a free CD then. Screwed up the Boot partitions, and had to fix any and everything wrong with it since it still was the family computer for Skype, Tickets, bill payments, email and matrimonial services for my neighbours. Its still lying around at home. We upgraded the Memory to 512 MB where it peaked and the next thing you know, I was in college, which meant my first PC was boxed up and put away for good, since no one needed it after that apparently.

Why does Google Chrome show a dinosaur when you are offline?

Google Chrome users are probably familiar with the T-Rex dinosaur that shows up when your computer is not connected to the Internet. The T-rex had short arms and therefore lot of things were out of its reach. Chrome, like that dinosaur, too is having trouble reaching the Internet. What’s even more interesting is that the offline dinosaur in Chrome is also a game. Press the space bar to activate and your Chrome tab will quickly turn into a moderately addictive game. The T-Rex will run and your mission is to prevent it from bumping into the saguaros. The game is written in JavaScript and you can find the complete source code in the Chromiumrepository. Thanks Codepo8 for the discovery. And it’s not just about Chrome for desktop, the dinosaur game is available in Chrome for Android as well. Switch to airplane mode and give it a shot. The only difference is that instead of the space bar, you need to tap on the screen to jump / fly the dinosaur.

Is skipping school/class a sin?

im 16, girl. so im currently agnostic, but my family is Buddhist and for some reasons sometimes i would pray to the Buddha or Jesus (Catholic is what im learning in my school).

basically on this wednesday, every Catholic in my school with their parents will be going to a church, where later the students will come back to school to study again at about 1030am. me and my friend werent Catholic, but we re too lazy to get up in the morning to straight away to go to school.

so, we actually pretended to go to school with the car but we actually went for a walk around places and basically pretending like we actually went to church. when its almost 1030, we decided to start driving to the school, so they thought that me and my friend also went to the church with my classmates. because there will be security checking if each late students has ash on their forehead or not(which we didnt have), we then used black/grey eyeshadow on our forehead to pretend we joined the Ash Wednesday. I know this is bad and i definitely felt quite guilty. ive been apologising by praying to God. is this really is big sin? ): thanks for the opinions(:

Are STEM majors really much more difficult to complete than non-STEM majors?

Yes they usually are. 1. STEM majors have to spend much more time on average studying and also doing labs and homework for many of their classes. Many non STEM major classes might also involve long assignments but these usually detail essays or other assignments where the teachers might be more subjective in grading them versus STEM assignments where professors care a great deal about if you got the right answer and showed your work to arrive at the solution.2. People who struggle at math will find STEM majors really hard to complete. Most majors in the STE part of STEM will involve having students take a few Math courses and some people often refuse to get a major in STEM because of the math requirements for that major. Some people will want to just take the one required math course that the college or university requires for all students and then be done with it.3. Others have mentioned that if STEM majors screw up, the consequences are severe. This is true. If I screw up writing software and release the faulty product to the public, users will be frustrated if the software has many bugs or if it can't even be used. Given where I work, military pilots could fail to accomplish their missions and that leads to more people dying or a longer war. If a non STEM major screws up by writing a bad book, the bad book won't be responsible for killing off a lot of people or for preventing people from getting their jobs done.4. Finally, many people care a great deal about grades and grade point averages, and they usually get better grades in non STEM majors. If someone wants to go on to get a graduate degree or even a PHD at some point, they want to have great undergraduate G.P.A to be competitive for selection to the program. If you want to get a Master's degree in a STEM subject, you have to have gotten a bachelor's degree in a related field or else you have to take a few remedial course to prove you understand the subject. If someone wants to get an M.B.A for example, they may not want to waste their time in a STEM major when they could get a business degree where they will have better grades and a G.P.A to apply for one.

Why does the stool of a goat, horse and a cow differ even if they're eating the same food?

The Goat, after it has eaten, excretes its waste product in the pellet form.
The Cow excretes its waste in, a liquid "pile".
The Horse excretes in round balls with bits of grass in it.

Now how is it, that these 3 creatures, eating the same foods, excrete differently? It was an interesting but disgusting question put to me which i could not answer so i hope anyone of you can answer this one for me.
