HOW TO INTRODUCE YOUR SELF IN A PAGEANT (SPEECH)?
Is there a time limit on your intro? If not, make sure it's long enough to be memorable, but don't drag it out or you'll put the judges (and the audience) to sleep. Here's an example: "Good morning/afternoon/evening ladies and gentlemen, my name is (your name), and I come to you today from (your hometown, your state.) I am a (grade level) at (your school), where I enjoy (afterschool activity), (hobby), (and/or community service... put whatever you enjoy here. You can never go wrong with community service!!) I have aspirations of one day becoming (whatever you want to be when you grow up.) Thank you for your time!" Obviously, you can say anything you want... you can throw in stuff about your job, church, etc. Time yourself saying it, and make sure it either fits the given time limit or isn't ridiculously short/long. Practice saying it in front of a friend so they can give feedback... if they liked it, if you spoke clearly enough, if you spoke too fast or slow (try to speak normally, but loud enough to be heard), etc. Don't forget to smile!! What happens at a funeral?
okay well i tried writing some stuff but you can keep it: I walked in front of dad's coffin. Tears sprang in my eyes. "Mom.." I said, turning around. She was crying, too. "Say 'goodbye' to your father." she said, trying hard not to cry. I gaped at her. How am I supposed to say "goodbye" to my dad? He was like my best friend. "Oh, he was my bother.." cried Uncle Tom in the back pew. A couple of family members were talking in hushed voices. Only a couple of relatives came early. Like, at 4:30 P.M. when it's supposed to start "Hey." said my sister, Yvonne. "Hey." I said, surprised she was talking to me. She pushed me towards dad's coffin. "Go." she said, impatiently. I sniffled and said those two words I hated. "Goodbye, dad." okay, not that good but watever. i really wanna be an author when i grow up. i hope u liked it. :) ~lily

In 1505, Pope Julius II summoned Michelangelo to Rome, but it was to design the pope's tomb, a project that the artist worked on (with many interruptions) for 40 years. It was not completed at the time of his death. It was common for artists of the time to use the faces of wealthy and powerful patrons, or their relatives, as subjects in paintings. In the religious paintings of the time, you may find whole families who wielded religious/political power portrayed as angels, saints, apostles. It is entirely possible that such a one would be used as the face of Christ, though I could find no certain reference to support the idea.
