A Good Type Graphics Card For Playing Games.

What games could this graphics card handle?

it can handle some basic games
for 500 pounds you can build a good pc, don't waste your money on that

What type of games can the NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G graphic card play

That won't be any good for Call of Duty 4 or Battlefield. For most 3d fps games, you'll need a Geforce 7600/8600 or better gpu (it's the last 3 digits which count)

The most a Geforce 8200M could handle is probably World of Warcraft, the Sims,.and strategy games.

Check Asus and Gateway... they have some nice gaming laptops.

Can I play games on a Core i5 with 8GB RAM and an Intel graphics card?

Yes, you can play even a mobile CPU core i5 6200u can play all types of game till till date. My laptop is rocking a core i5 6200u, its just 2 cores 4 threads CPU and paired with nvidia 930m GPU and 12 GB of RAM DDR3 1600MHz SODIMMS. It can play all types of game till date in HD+ resolution (i.e., 1366 by 768) low to medium setting and even sometimes with high with respectable frames per second.I run GTA 5 in high settings without AA with fps around 35 and never dipping below 25.And yes, you can play all of them with 8GB of RAM also make sure not to run heavy task that use more RAM in background.

In gaming, which is most important, RAM or graphics card?

Well, definitely a graphic card.Your graphic card is the one that does the rendering work, RAM is just there to keep the data available for the CPU and GPU to access. Nowadays usually you get 6-8 gigs of RAM installed in a decent laptop. Even a 4Gb RAM is sufficient if you’re not into 2k or 4k gaming. But if you buy a Graphic card that itself has a memory of 4Gb, then of course you will need atleast 6Gb of RAM for it. But even if you increase this limit to, say 16Gb, you won’t notice much of a difference in gaming. Your frame rate would hardly increase by 2–5 fps.Now CPU on the other hand is equally important with the graphic card. You might install a GTX 1060 6Gb graphic card, have 8Gb of RAM and installed an i3 processor, still you wont be able to get the best out of your system. The GPU is way too powerful that your CPU. In this config, your CPU would be running at 100% with somewhat 60% of RAM usage and about 40–50% of GPU usage. So you need to see that this doesn’t happen. A system can take care of itself if the RAM is less, but it just cannot handle a slow processor. As it will take the whole system down with itself.

Is graphics card necessary to play games like cricket revolution, ashes cricket or any other modern day games?

Hello Sandeep,
I understood about your querry...and here is the solution...!!!
Let me first give you a brief introduction of the working of a graphic card...!!!

Every system(starting with Celeron and Pentium 4 onwards..), it has an ONBOARD GRAPHICS chipset which enables you to play 3D games (High Graphics games...but not the modern games.)

And Keeping your system configuration in mind, your PC does have an INTEL ONBOARD GRAPHICS CHIPSET...!!!
However, this chipset's are not much powerful to handle High-Graphic Games.
Also, each chipset has it's own graphics memory that is shared with the other system resources and that's why it has to do a lot of work at a time..!!

The concluding part: It depends that what type of games you are interested in playing.
I don't have information about the games that you have mentioned here.
Also, if you are using a copy of the original game, then the game must be having a 'crack' file.
You have to find that crack and replace with the original '.exe' file where you have installed the game.
Majority times, this happens..!!
If still doesn't work, then there may be a number of other reasons on which you'ld have to research.
I hope this would help..!!!

I have 2 GB graphics card memory and 16 GB of RAM. Why can't my PC still play games in ultra settings or can I get my on-board graphics card to use the full 16 GB?

Since you say your motherboard can support 16 gb of ram, I'd guess that you have a fairly good cpu and that you'd also have Intel integrated graphics along with your graphics card. If you have a 3rd or 4th gen cpu @ atleast 2.6 ghz, thats way more than enough for most games out there..Now what about your hard disk?If you have a standard hard disk, specifically the 5400 rpm type, you're gonna get shitty gaming performance because it has ridiculously slow read/write speeds. I sold my old dell xps (i7,7gb ram,4 gb graphics) for the very same reason.Best thing you could do (if this is your problem) is to get a SSD and install whatever games/programs for which you want better performance onto that, because SSDs have considerably higher read/write speeds as compared to a hard disk. You will notice a vast improvement.7200 rpm HDDs are acceptable. Also, make sure to keep your hard disk defragmented at regular intervals.(DO NOT DEFRAG SSDs.EVER.).Next, we check how fast your ram is. You obviously have ddr3 ram and acceptable gaming speeds for ddr3 is 1600 mhz and higher(upto 2000+ mhz). If your motherboard only supports much slower speeds, then this could be your problem. The only solution is to buy a motherboard that supports faster speeds and buy faster ram as well..Next, does your pc have overheating issues? Try to keep it as clean as possible from the inside, no dust-clogged vents, etc. Spick and span it should be. If possible buy a cooling unit. Remove the side panels of your chassis, they only trap hot air and heat everything up. Try getting your cpu cooling paste replaced or changed for a more heavy duty type paste. This works wonders..Try downloading the latest drivers for your gpu. Its possible you may have outdated drivers that are incompatible with the games you're trying to play..Do you have other resource hungry applications running in the background? Use task manager to kill unnecesary tasks and then play..I can't think of anything else, but if you still have problems you can send me your pc's configuration and I'll try to see what could the issue could be.
