Is it normal for my belly to be bigger on the left side?

not appedicides because thats on ur right side. mabe its tight and u need to rest and drink lots of water or crams (u now wat i mean) as in PMS:) or a violent tummy ache! hope u get better!

Abdominal pain is difficult to diagnose. You have so many organs in your abdomen it could be any number of things causing your belly pain. It does sound internal rather than a muscular pain and the first thing that comes to mind is your appendix. The usual symptoms are lower right abdominal pain, starting around your bellybutton then spreading out to a larger area followed by nausea and possible vomiting. I would ask if when you push on your belly does it feel tight or hard? If the pain continues or gets worse please seek medical attention.

"I am not constipated but I am having very watery stools." -- You can be constipated and still have watery stool, I see this with bowel impaction. Did you also have an abdominal ultrasound to see what's going on inside?

Is the pain on YOUR LEFT side, meaning when you look down is the pain to left of your belly button? If the pain is in fact on your left side then there is potentially less to worry about being that most of your organs in your abdoman that could be of concern are on YOUR right side. If it were appendecitis then chances are you would be feeling pain on YOUR right side of your abdomen, same with your liver nad gallbladder. If the pain migrates to your mid section or to your right side of belly button go see a doctor ASAP. If it stays on your left then it may be ome GAS or even some ABDOMINAL SPASMS which can be very painful I hope you get some relief either way Good luck and God Bless
What could cause a stabbing pain in the lower left side of the abdominal?
Nobody can diagnose you properly here. But there are many honest and legitimate answers here. I am wondering why no one has mentioned Kidney Stones (medically known as Urolithiasis). I have had similar pains, constantly, for months and have been diagnosed with kidney stones. Not ones but twice.Many who have not felt or experienced kidney stones cannot know how excruciating the pain can be. Stabbing pain would be an apt description. Having said that, you can’t do much sitting at home. Please see a doctor and try increasing water intake, if at all it is kidney stones.Be well!!

Congrats on having no abnormalities found after such extensive exams (personally, if you were my patient, at 23 yo, I wouldn’t have done so many exams).Many people having an irritable bowel syndrome feel their sigmoid colon, located in the left lower part of your belly, cramping, this pain radiates to the back, groin and thigh.These are measures that you can try to alleviate your pain:-if constipated do something about it, e.g. by-taking lots of food fiber e.g. metamucil® 4 tablespoonfuls with lots of water a day which can be effective in non constipated people too-spasmolytics e.g. Duspatal® (mebeverine) -some people I treated did quite well often on super low dosed tricyclic antidepressant (imipramine, nortryptiline) starting at 10 mg at night, after 3 to 6 weeks if no success slowly more 25 mg (to a max of 150 mg/day). It only works after 3 to 6 weeks, so patience is needed. This we know from our chronic pain clinic experience.-some patient did very well on cognitive behavioral treatment.
