Is the Fossil brand better than the Ted Baker brand for watches?
I partially agree with the answers so far. Yes, Fossil and Ted Baker are fashion watches. Yes, you don’t get a good bang per buck, meaning that with the same amount of money you can get a much better watch from Seiko, Casio, Citizen, or Timex (but not limited to these).I have no experience with Ted baker…. only some marginal experience with Fossil, meaning that I know lots of people who have Fossil watches for some time now, and they’re still working properly (the watches, I mean… the people, well, they’re people). Well, I don’t keep track exactly, but most of the people I know that own Fossil watches, have them for 3…4 years and are still working fine.As for repairing the watch, my guess is that, worst case, the whole movement can be replaced. A quartz movement can be bought for as little as 10Euros, depending on the movement type… I have no idea how much a watchmaker would charge for a movement replacement, but, should it be the case, the watch should be repairable, in my point of view…I understand, from some points of view, the hate the fashion watches get, but on the other hand, feel free to buy what ever you like. Even the cheapest Miyota movements like the Miyota 2035 (that costs about 3 USD) are reliable and can work properly for many years… If you take good care of a watch, even the cheapest watch, will last quite some time.Not everybody has horology as a hobby or is passionate about watches, so, feel free to choose according to your liking. You could take the collective advice and look towards other brands, or just go with the flow.My father has a cheap, Q&Q watch that he wears every day… It had a gold finish originally, that is almost completely scratched away now after some 5 years. The watch still works and keeps time very well!Even more, if you take the watch to a watchmaker for the necessary battery changes, while he changes the battery can also inspect the watch for water damage, lubricate the gaskets if needed, and so on. So, you get extra service even if you pay more for a battery change when it’s done by a professional, and you get to enjoy your watch for a longer time.

Have you ever found the perfect purse?
I have two AMAZING purses that I always use, and take with me to travel.One of them is a cute and white small crossbody with a front pocket clasped by a small set of flowers. (It looks like the one above, but in white.) My grandmother and I saw this purse at a Brighton shop at the Washington DC airport, and we both knew that I had to have it. I didn’t think I would use it so much when I first bought it, but now it is the only formal bag I use to go out to dinner or a nice event. Best $50 ever spent!!The second bag is a small, round, navy blue crossbody. (Like the one above, except with a navy blue cloth on the bottom, and a more original design on top) It’s like a giant pocket! It has a leather cover for the opening, which is held down by a buckle clasp, to keep things secure and safe. I use this purse more for day to day things.The Puro Cuero purse is like a boy’s pocket for me.
