A Question About Israel Travel

A question about Israel Travel?

N.A. Talmudists are a category of their own.

Travel by boat from USA to Israel?

My mother lives in France half the year and always flies to NY then takes a cruise to France. From there , they could take a cruise to Israel. The time would take a few weeks, but they would have the best chance to relax. I'm not a travel agent but these websites below could help , and I'm sure other people have other ideas. Best of luck , Cheers!

edit atlastravelweb will go straight to the Mediterranean, see that one!

UltraNational: you weren't the better idea I was thinking about, You should be more hospitable when someone wants to visit your homeland.

edit: I just telephoned Montrose Travel, and the woman was very kind , her name is Judy Stein, shes been to Israel 11 times, and said you are more than welcome to call her. She understands the situation and has several ideas. Many ways to go, she even said they can go by Cargo Ship if they need to save money, (I'm assuming its not as it sounds as others do it as well) or trans Atlantic to the UK and then the train to Turkey or Italy, and then a ferry boat over to Israel. But I would think its best to phone her. Her number is 800-666-8767 ext, 459. Again Judy Stein. Cheers!

Question about Israel Birthright Trips?

My girlfriend is of Jewish descent although she is not religious. She is 22 and graduating college in a couple of weeks. I'm a good bit older than her and our relationship is amazing. I am not Jewish and although some of her family members have expressed concern, it has never been an issue in our relationship. She tells me she loves me for me, plans to marry me, babies, the whole nine yards...as a matter of fact I was planning to propose this summer before her trip.... which leads me to my question. She has been accepted to go on a Birthright Trip with Israel Experts. I trust her completely and she has never given me any reason to suspect that she would cheat on me, I'm just curious to hear from someone who has been on one of these trips. Does it really just turn out to be just one huge drunken orgy like some have described? Or is it really just a free trip to help discover one's roots? From your experiences, do people come back changed in their views/relationships? Does everyone wind up having some sort of fling over there? I've heard varying accounts and was just curious to see if there was anything I should worry about. I want her to have a great experience but There have been things I've read that caused me to be a little uncomfortable. Any and all viewpoints would be greatly appreciated.

Can I travel from India to Israel by road?

2000 years ago or after the Mongolian invasion to the Middle East (13th century) you could :)The old Silk Road was used for travelleres from the Far East to Europe and Africa. Israel was an important junction. After the Islamic conquer you could travel as well but you had to pay tax to the Muslims rulers along the way.By the way, this was very strong incentive for Spain and Portugal to look for new ways to India, they didn’t want to pay taxes to he Muslims.Unfortunately today, due to the political situation, there is no free traffic between India and Israel though theoretically it’s definitly possible.Hopefully one day we can have this option again.Visit my website: Your One Stop Shop for Yoga, Meditation & Zen best productsFollow me on Instagram: Shopeast Asia (@shopeastasia) • Instagram photos and videos

Can one travel to Israel if his passport indicates he's been to Arab nations?

You will have absolutely no problem entering Israel. Israelis couldn't care less which countries you visited before. But as many people indicated here Some Muslim countries deny entry to anyone who has Israeli stamp in their passport. Israelis are well aware of that. It is a standard procedure to get a blank piece of paper to be stamped and stapled to your passport. Once you leave Israel you just remove and throw away this paper. However, as far as I know it is not done automatically. You need to ask for it at the passport control. However, like I said it is a common request that is is always granted without any questions asked. Don't worry, come and visit Israel. It is magnificent, beautiful country. Enjoy your stay.

Israel: Could a Kurd from Syria with a British travel document go to Israel and study Hebrew?

The answer has several aspectsSecurity checksAs Aya Ilan had said, the person would be questioned in the airport, and should come prepared. The best preparation is to enroll in advance, get in contact with the school and explain the issue. They will provide a phone number that the airport authorities would call to verify that all is in order...The other option (just as good) is to contact the Israeli embassy in London, and get everything in order before you land. Entrance Visa Since such a person wants to enter Israel for a prolonged visit (study), he should take care for the relevant visa. This is not a tourist visa (that you can get in the airport when you arrive). Again, the school would probably be able to help with that. Or just as good, the Israeli embassy in London.Visa applicationSection 3 in this site (Visas )  details the requirements for a student Visa for Israel and provides the documents necessary for applying to one. However, there is also another option... It turns out that you can still volunteer in the Kibbutz... And tt can be good way to learn Hebrew. It won't get you to the level of a good Hebrew school, but it won't cost anything (you get full accommodations)Kibbutz Volunteers Program Center Official Website You can find an email in there, and ask about more details...

Which passport is important to travel to Israel and do a job?

From Israel’s perspective, any passport. Israel does not deny entry to anyone based solely on nationality. If you are from one of the countries that deny entry to citizens who have evidence of travel to Israel in their passports (such as Iran, Syria, Lebanon, etc) then it will be an issue for you to have a work visa in your passport, or if you are from Pakistan, who’s passport says “Not Valid for Israel” it will also be an issue, but again, Israel won’t deny you solely for these reasons, but your home country may have some words with you.Now that said, you would expect some additional questioning if you apply for an Israel visa with an Iranian passport, but that alone will not get you turned away.

Is it safe for european tourists to travel to Israel right now?

In terms of petty crime, it is as safe as it gets. You can walk alone anywhere in the middle of the night with no fear. But I assume you are not concerned about that.About the political situation at the moment - I really don't think you should be worried. Tourists are not a target by neither sides. Quite on the contrary, everybody will try to win you over so you can ''spread'' their point of view.Don't be afraid to go to Palestinian areas either, I urge you to go. People will be very friendly as not many tourists arrive these days. And more importantly, visiting Israel without visiting Palestinian controled areas is not even seeing half the picture. Just remember that there is no avoiding politics and religion in Israel/Palestine, not even in Tel Aviv. Be smart about what you talk about and with who. But that can be said about anywhere.
