A Science Question Need Your Help Don

I need help with eath science questions?

1. look at Temperature Inversion of the stratosphere/thermosphere and how ozone effects the inversion.

2. Direct radiation from sun, reflection from moon

3. Take a flashlight hold it directly over the table in a dark room. You will see a bright circle of concentrated light. If you tilt the light to 40 degrees over the table then there will be an oval shape and less dense light. You can think of it as a density problem. The light emission is the same but the surface area the light strikes differs. If the same amount of light strikes a larger area it will reduce intensity.

4. about 1pm, because the sun has passed its most direct point overhead in the sky (noon) and the heating effect is cumulative. As the sun lowers in the West then the temperature begins to decrease.

5. Tilt of the Earth - intensity of radiated heat is less intense with the Earth's tilt.

6. CO2, CH4, CO - reduce air quality, prevent radiant energy from escaping into space

7. Acid rain can kill insect and aquatic life-forms as well as causing damage to buildings and having impacts on human health.

Science question....need help?

The hint gives it away. A sheet of paper is enough to stop alpha particles. So provided the detector cell is kept intact, it is safe.
However it could be very dangerous if the Americium-243 were to be exposed. Alpha particles are very damaging if life forms are exposed to them.

I need help on this science question?

Suppose you need to build a raft. Write a paragraph describing the physical and chemical properties of the raft that would be important to ensure your safety.

You don't need to write a paragraph (though if you did it would be great!) but please list some of the chemical and physical properties that would make a raft safe. Thank you!

A science question,i need your help...............?

i had 9 questions to answer.i answered all of them but i didn't know the last question, can you help me?
if you stepped on a tack, how would your nervous system respond?what other organ systems would be signalled?
there is 10 points waiting for you if you answer my questiom right.

Math/Science question?? I need your help please!?

250,000 BTUs/(12,000 BTUs/pound * 2000 pounds/ton) = a fractional number that you can compute of BTUs/ton.

The trick is to make the names of the units cancel as if they were fractions.

Need your help on this Political Science question...?

I don't consider myself very political. I am more civic minded. I like help promoting relationship between community & local police department (& vice-versa). They have had some very open dialogs with & for community members.

I vote unless I'm unable to drive. I will wait in a long line to do it. Every time I am inconvenienced by voting procedures I just keep a picture in my mind of nations were people are uled by dictators & are rioting for the privledge of their one little vote. Compared to that visual, a long line is easy to bare. I don't have to worry (too much) about getting shot for going out to vote.

I would like to see the electoral college done away with & go to the popular vote. I hope our younger generation seeks this change or I see the future getting much worse, politically.

Can someone help me in Science?

I had this question for a test and got it wrong, now my teacher is sending me to answer it correctly. I still don't understand and my Science textbook isn't helping. I need your help please. Here's the question:It is winter where Jenna lives. It's been snowing all day but now the snow has changed to sleet and then to freezing rain. What is happening to cause these changes?

I need so much help on this science question I don't even know where to begin?

Speedy, the Human Cannonball is regularly shot out of a special cannon and lands in a net. The charge that launches Speedy gives him a velocity of 25.00 m/s and the cannon has an angle of 20.0o above the horizontal. Speedy does this in a lot of different places so he needs to know how high he goes and how far away he lands because if the building is too small it could get messy. Show all work

How high does the roof need to be? (How high does Speedy go?)

and
At what distance should the net be centered? Explain why.

How do scientists help the poor? If they don't, aren't they immoral?

The list is mind-bogglingly long.  Off the top of my head, these three have changed the world.Golden rice  - Huge swaths of the world use rice as a daily staple.  This GMO rice strain adds Vitamin A to the rice to treat a common vitamin deficiency.  Seed is available for free to any farmer that makes less than $27 per day (>80% of the world's population).Smallpox vaccine - Eradicated the smallpox disease. The Green Revolution - Fed a Billion people. The book Whole Earth Discipline has some fantastic stuff on this, even though it's not the book's main topic. That leaves your second question.  Is it immoral to not help someone in need?  I've struggled with this.  There can be stunning unintended consequences of helping.  "Free" food from anti-famine emergency relief programs can and does put local farmers out of business.  With less farmers, the famine becomes perpetual.  In the US, anti-poverty programs with the best of intentions created victim-dense slums.  Other anti-poverty programs incentivized breaking family bonds and unintentionally propagated multigenerational poverty and dependence.  Our supplemental income for the elderly program has destroyed most worker pension programs and disassembled the loyalty between companies and their workers.  It has replaced the idea of saving for retirement and creating wealth with dependence.  In the process has created a liability that will, within my lifetime, consume 1/4th of an average worker's income. If helping is often harmful, how can it be immoral not to help?

One science question. I need to pass this class!! i really appreciate your help!!?
