A Small Pinching Sensation In My Chest When I Breath In Is This A Chest Infection

The left side of my chest hurts when I breathe?

From the way in which you have described your condition it is apparent that you have been having pain in the left side of your chest since quite some time, and that since the last couple of days it has intensified in frequency and pain. Now if this has been going on since more than a week and at one particular area or location -- not confined to one point-- it is a matter of concern. At the same time you say that your heartbeat rate goes really fast. This is also not a good sign. arrhythmia (or irregular heartbeats) or fast heartbeats with pain is an abnormal sign. Though not always. Now I do not mean to scare you, but I have to give the answer to your question. There can be numerous reasons for this condition. Your best option is to go to the Emergency room. The doctors there will do some tests including a heart scan and try to find out the cause. If there is nothing serious, and I hope and pray for you that there is nothing serious, and it is just pain due to gas, or any other condition not serious, you would have had the satisfaction of having the tests done and anything serious ruled out.

In the meantime, if you are smoking it is just a NO NO !! If you are taking pop or coffee or anything like tea or chocolates you have to stop that at least until you have gone through your tests.

No you do NOT have to be scared. Like I said there should be nothing serious but it is always better to get yourself checked. And you will be happy. Best wishes.

Sharp chest pain when I take a deep breath or yawn?

Pinched back muscles often send the pains around your body on the nerves to be pains in your rib, chest or heart areas. The muscles are just tight but when you yawn or take a deep breath your spine is moving to cause the pains to happen in the muscles, to pinch them. To get rid of the pain you have to free up your back muscles to release the tight ones and here's how to free them up:
Back:
(do while sitting)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Why would I get recurrant sinus infections + Chest infection?

My husband uses this to keep from getting bronchitis when he gets a sinus infection, and I use it to cure sinus infections. THere are many kinds of bacteria that live in the sinuses, and this gets rid of all the bad ones!.This is the only thing that really helped me --- my Dr. told me about a sinus wash that will kill bacteria.
you need

distilled water
sea salt
liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the health food store.
in a glass mix 1/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature.
add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix.
using a large dropper (like one used for infant medication) drop 2 full droppersfull into one side of the nose while laying down.
Turn the head and let it drain out the other nostril. Be sure to have paper towels handy. or just use a neti pot, I like this better.
The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the sinus cavities and anti biotics don't get rid of them all.
Do this twice a day for a week, mixing up the mixture fresh each time.
Then do it once a week for maintenance.
There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and it cured me.
I do not have to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore.
best wishes

Why do I feel a pinching in my chest?

There can be many reasons.  It can be stressrelated, nerves that are stuck, tight muscles, heart conditions, lungs etc...In order to answer more proberly, You could write more about your self, when it started, if You experienced it before, if it hurts when You breath...And dont hesitate to see a doctor, if its painful or wont go away...Hope You get well soon:)

Why do my stomach hurt when I take a deep breath?

Very complicated to answer without more information. If it comes on with running and is off to one side or other other it may be a condition called side stitch. However, pain with breathing may also indicate that something is irritated on one side or the other of the diaphragm. On the top side of the diaphragm that is often one of the lungs, or more specifically the lining of the lung called the pleura. This can happen from scar tissue, infections, tumors and other things. It can also happen from the pericardium, the sac around the heart being inflamed. The esophagus could also do this.Things below the diaphragm that can cause this are numerous. On the right liver and gallbladder would be most common, but the right kidney, transverse and ascending colon, appendix and small bowel could do it.In the middle below the diaphragm the stomach, first parts of the small bowel, and pancreas would be common causes as well as the transverse colon. On the left side the spleen, transverse colon, descending colon, and sigmoid colon along with the left kidney and occasionally the aorta would be possible causes.Depending on the location these may give you some clue. But the internal organs are not hooked up to nerves as precisely as things like your hand or leg. Internal pains can be experienced in general areas rather than specific locations related to the organ. So any abdominal pain could be from all those abdominal causes I described or it could be from pain referred from the chest, the chest or abdominal wall or even be spine related pain if a nerve root was pinched.Seeing a medical professional for an evaluation would be a wise idea if this is either severe, recurrent, or ongoing. Best of luck,

Pinching feeling in left lung? Does anyone get this?

I have gotten that once or twice except without the blood. It is pretty much a cramp of the muscles arund the lungs. It could be stress induced, or you slept the wrong way. A lot of things can effect this. Don't worry about it. Worry about it if it happens frequently. But if you are worried about it, the next time you see your doctor for a regular check up, just ask / tell him about it.

The only thing that you should worry about is the blood. If you bleed frequently when it happens, then going to see a doctor is an excellent idea.

I'm experiencing slight pinch like pain on the left side of my chest, close to where heart is positioned?

I have had this as well the last few months, and the other night it was coming and going non stop. I had no other symptoms of a heart attack, but it is certainly not a fun feeling.

I am under loads of stress, and this only happens to me when I am laying in bed actually. It could be some sort of stress related thing, or a pinched nerve in my case. I have a doc apt on May 28th, so we will see.

My chest feels heavy and it's kinda hard to breathe?

It sounds allot like a case of "pleurisy". Pleurisy (also known as pleuritis) is an inflammation of the pleura, the lining of the pleural cavity surrounding the lungs. Among other things, infections are the most common cause of pleurisy.

The inflamed pleural layers rub against each other every time the lungs expand to breathe in air. This can cause severe sharp pain with inhalation (also called pleuritic chest pain). It can also cause a sensation of not being able to fully inhale or cause constricted breathing( less air in the lungs with normal respirations) bringing on shortness of breath. Similar to an asthma attack.

You probably need to see a doctor and get some meds or antibiotics to treat this before it develops into pneumonia. Good Luck

Why did i get a sharp chest pain after drinking water?

That sounds like a partially pinched muscle in your back that the pain is being caused by. The muscle isn't pinched tight but it isn't fully released either so it can be moved into the pain area fairly easy. when you chugged that water down and tilted your head back it put enough pressure on the muscle to make it go fully pinched for a period of time and the pain was on. When you have muscles pinched in the rib area the pains like to follow the ribs to the front and then manifest themselves there. Here is how to release your back muscles so this don't happen anymore, it will make a full release of that muscle in your back:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and firmly press on them and hold.
