Are you for or against? Anyway, start with: "It's clearly obvious that students definately should/should not...blah blah blah. It's a basic start. But, if you're presenting a speech, infront of an audience, start by saying "Good Morning/afternoon/evening everyone, today I'm up here to talk about what a disgrace/excellent idea it is that blah blah blah..." What is an honour roll student?
An Honor Roll student is a student that has obtained only A's and B's on his/her report card. If a student has all A's, then that student is considered a Dean's List student. In some cases, an honor roll student can have 1 C, but an A on that report card must make up for that C.
Most improved student award?
I think awarding students with a certificate for their efforts is highly appropriate, and is often used as a way of encouraging on going good behaviour or to be a good student, or continuing to try and improve ones self etc. We all want someone to acknowledge our efforts, and having a disability should not make any difference. My daughter has ADHD, ODD & Dyslexia and she always loved it when she was given an certificate for the most improved or the best behaved or the most kindliest student, which would encourage her to keep on trying. I often use positive reinforcement and certificates to help my clients & students act or behave appropriately, and it does not matter how old they are, they all love the acknowledgement however small it is.
