Have you ever thought what how does legendary Icon such as Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, Richard Branson are so efficient?Let me ask you 2–3 question.You are completely tired, someone asks you to copy a 300-page novel in a night. If you succeed you will win $1 million. What will you do?I can guarantee You won’t get distracted even for a second If you are not a millionaire. Also, You will be able to finish it in a night.2. Again, Same persons ask you to copy a 100 pages novel in 30 days and you will get $100. What will you do?You will procrastinate until last week and here you will take 30 days to finish it.What makes the difference to complete a 300 pages novel in a night and 100 pages in 30 days. Reward and time are two factors which help one to obviate distraction.You might have experienced work expands according to time. If you won’t. Let me proof you. Suppose a teacher has given you the assignment to submit it in 5 days. You are working on it diligently. On 3rd day teachers tell you as he is taking leave for 4 days so you need to submit it after 4 days. What will you do? You will start procrastinating and get distracted. Definitely, it will take you total 7 days to finish the work which you will be able to finish in 5 days.How can one get rid of a distraction?We always fool our mind saying there is a lot of time. The only to get rid of a distraction is to purport your mind there is no time. Let me tell you the question which turned my brain like a coil during my bs practical.The examiner asked me this question in a very amiable manner.Examiner- To ek baar kya hua. Mere exams khatam hue, to maine socha ki chalo aaj chaai banatr h sab ke lie. Mene chai banani shuru kari. ( at this moment, i was thinking- what chai yaar,bs practical is going on. But still i liked his way of asking questions.) Mene chai banane ke lie, paanch chammach paani daala, paanch chammach chini daali, paanch chammach dudh daala or paanch hi chammach chaipatti daali. Dhyaan se suno, mene sab paanch paanch chammach dala. Ab tumhe ye batana h ki, mene yahan par financial management ki konsi term use karii.( i was like what- financial mgt. But still my brain started working on it.)My answer- Sir i think, its the capital budgeting decision as here you decided that where should you invest the assets available with you.Examiner- No. You are just about to reach the answer. You are half correct. ( said this with a wide smile on his face)Me- then maybe its financial leverage.Examiner- No. Again you are incorrect. ( Then being seen that i was not able to answer, he continued)Examiner- it capital structure as it is related to deciding the utility of the funds available.After this, he asked some more questions, then told me to go. But seriously, his question and the way of confusing the person in front of him was just amazing. Though i always understood the concepts of business studies, but never applied it in a way like this. Honestly, in which so ever school he was a teacher, those students are very fortunate to have him as a teacher.
