A Thing Person And Activity Of Beauty Is A Joy And Contentment Forever

What is the best thing about someone born under the cancer sign?

Positive Traits: kind, loving, emotional, intuitive, imaginative, shrewd, cautious, protective and sympathetic.

Negative Traits: changeable, moody, over-emotional, touchy, untidy, clinging, unable to "let go," and a tendency to wallow in self-pity.

Likes: hobbies, romance, children, parties, home and country.

Dislikes: failure, opposition, aggravating situations, being told what to do and being given advice...whether good or bad.

Natives of Cancer are probably most in tune with those governed by Pisces, since Pisces is prone to moods just like Cancer, but of a less volatile nature. This is a couple who will find peace and harmony throughout the majority of their relationship.

Scorpio, another Sign ruled by the element of Water, would also be favorable since Scorpio is equal to the moods of Cancer and capable of great understanding. Cancer finds the Scorpio depth of character intriguing and will certainly appreciate the rich view of life inherent in the Scorpio nature, to say nothing of the awareness and perception associated with that Sign. This is a couple who will likely provide everything either has ever wanted in a relationship. The physical chemistry here is quite amazing...it is long-lasting and only gets better with the passage of time.

Describe the accomplishments of King Solomon.?

Wisdom is only effective when it is put into action. Early in is life, Solomon had the sense to recognize his need for wisdom. But by the time Solomon asked for wisdom to rule his kingdom, he had already started a habit that would make his wisdom ineffective for his own life---he sealed a pact with Egypt by marrying Pharaoh's daughter. She was the first of hundreds of wives married for political reasons. In doing this, Solomon went against not only his father's last words, but also God's direct commands. His action reminds us how easy it is to know what is right and yet not to it.

It is clear that God's gift of wisdom to Solomon did not mean that he couldn't make mistakes. He had been given great possibilities as the king of God's chosen people, but with them came great responsibilities, unfortunately, he tended to pursue the former and neglect the latter. While becoming famous as the builder of the temple and the palace, he became infamous as a leader who excessively taxed and worked his people. Visitors from the distant lands came to admire this wise king, while his own people were gradually alienated from him.

Little is mentioned in the Bible about the last decade of Solomon's reign. Ecclesiastes probably records his last reflections on life. In that book w find a man proving through bitter experience that finding meaning in life apart from God is a vain pursuit. Security and contentment are found only in a personal relationship with God. The contentment we find in the opportunities and successes of this life is temporary. The more we expect our successes to be permanent, the more quickly they are gone. Be sure to balance your pursuit of life's possibilities with reliable fulfillment of your responsibilities.

Solomon's strengths and accomplishments:
+ Third king of Israel, David's chosen heir
+ The wisest man who ever lived
+ Author of Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon, as well as many of the proverbs and a couple of the psalms.
+ Built God's temple in Jerusalem
+ Diplomat, trader, collector, patron of the arts.

Lessons from his life:
+ Effective leadership can be nullified by an ineffective personal life
+ Solomon failed to obey God, but did not learn the lesson or repentance until late in life
+ Knowing what actions are required of us means little without the will to do those actions

What one thing provides you a considerable amount of contentment and joy?

One thing that provides me a considerable amount of contentment and joy has to do with God's Word. The scriptures highlight the importance of learning and applying Godly insight. For example, one translation uses the phrase “their coming to know you”, at John 17:3. The obvious question is, their coming to know who? It continues, “the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” With what potential result? “Everlasting life!” How crucial then, is it to accurately understand that and other scriptural truths. It can mean our eternal lives! A similar example is shown at 1Tim. 2:3,4 where the phrase “come to an accurate knowledge of truth” is used. This doesn't mean to acquiring mere knowledge. No, but to fully comprehend what God's will for us is.So what does this have to do with my recieving contentment and joy? That comes in when I have the opportunity to follow the beautiful and splendid example of Christ himself. (1 Pet. 2:21) He shared what was passed onto him from his Father, Jehovah God. (Ps. 83:18; John 7:16; 12:49) Jesus then, taught his apostles and consequently set the example for all claiming to be his Christian followers today to do the same. My privilege, therefore, is to do just that. By sharing what I've come to know through a study of God's word, it give me great joy when someone begins to understand specific bible truths. That is the commission of every disciple of Christ… to preach and teach others! Is happiness a social construct?

When do people start realizing that they need to be happy? Who came up with the concept of happiness? Also, why do people want to be happy instead of making someone be happy? Wouldn't it be more wise to contribute for the happiness of others, rather than just concentrating on our own happiness?

Is happiness just a variable that holds a subject meaning that is dependent upon on a person's desires; namely, people use that word for lack of a more specific explanation for their real wants?

Why is the top of my head white while my whole body is brown?

What brings happiness in your life? What is that one thing which makes you happy?

Laughing, Smiling, Joking, Swimming, Jumping, Screaming, Arguing, Sitting, Standing, Running, Creating, Coaching, Helping, Sleeping, Loving, Producing, Consuming, Writing, Speaking, Talking, Giving, Taking, Saying ‘No’, Saying ‘Yes’, Existing, Living. All of these things and everything else makes me happy, not because I derive my happiness from any result these things give, but because I have the freedom to chose them.I can chose anything among them or nothing. Tomorrow I could chose to drop everything and or to keep struggling. I can laugh whenever I want, I can smile, I can quit my job, travel to another country, and be by myself completely, I can say “No” to anyone and “Yes” to everything and, at the end of it all, I can chose whatever the hell I want. That Freedom makes me happy.Knowing that I can chose my own path and live my own life regardless of the results, knowing that I have the freedom to live my life the way I want to brings me joy! There will be some pitfalls, there will be some mistakes, there will even be some horrible moments, but I still got to chose!I would rather make my own mistakes, live my life by my own means and even live a less amazing life than to live the life someone else gives me.I am happiest when I am Free.Stop being less than you can be and reach your goals.
