A Very Crazy But Enjoyable Dream. This Isn

Why do I feel like I'm in a dream?

What you describe is called “derealization”. It seems to happen to about 5% of the people in the course of their life, and is a dissociative symptom that often indicates a dysfunction in the temporal occipital region of the brain. It can have many possible underlying causes, including lack of sleep, side-effects of medication and drugs, epilepsy, schizophrenia, etc. The experience often passes on its own after a short time, but you describe that you have had it for days, and that it is getting worse.I would recommend to see a neurologist and, depending on the circumstances, get an MRI of your brain done, too. If there are no obvious organic causes, treatment is usually cognitive-behavioral or psychodynamic therapy (to cope with stress and situations in your life that can bring on the condition, and to get in control of the symptoms) and often medication. The same neurotransmitters that are responsible for your fatigue and anxiety are likely involved in the derealization, and many psychiatrists will recommend treatment with Prozac or clonazepam.I hope you feel better soon!By the way, we can never “really” experience reality. Instead, our brain always creates a dream, but during waking, this dream is anchored in and constrained by sensory input. The more your brain believes that its dream captures the structure of the sensory input, the more it marks the dream as “real”. In your current state, this marking does not work properly, so the same things that would normally appear as things in an objective reality to you may now look somewhat distant, or foggy, or like through a strange reflection, or just like ideas. (The good thing is that you are aware of that, and that your perceptions of the world are not mixed with true hallucinations or wild ideations, so you can act coherently.)

My boyfriend had a wet dream about my sister, does that mean he's sexually interested in her?

Sexually intrested? eh I wouldn't say that exactly. Physically attracted yes. You dream about stuff you think about well at least I do. He was probably thinking about her then had a dream about it. If a guy isn't sexually Attracted in a girl he CANT have a wet dream about her. But it's nothing I would worry about it just means that he thinks she looks good looking there's nothing mentally about it.

Dreams about getting raped and liking it?

okay i only have this dream every once in a while but i feel crazy and disgusted and ashamed once i wake up because 1) i'm a virgin and was taught not to have sex until marriage and 2) because i portray my crush in such a bad light and feel like a gross psycho for even dreaming/thinking about them like that. HOPEFULLY they aren't like that in real life, lol.

basically i'll have a romantic dream about me and some celebrity or guy that i'm crushing on at that time (like always, lol) but every ONCE in a while, i don't know how, but somehow my dream turns terribly DRASTIC and my crush ends up raping me in the end, it's really bad.

although i'm scared SH!TLESS while being raped some small part of me secretly likes it (i guess because he's my crush, but this isn't the way i want to have sex, it was supposed to be romantic like the dream). anyways am i sick (mentally) or something?

it's weird though too because anytime i have a dream of me and my crush and we end up having sex (you know the right way, unforced), we never really go ALL the way because i always end up waking up before we even get naked (like he'll have his shirt off and my dress will be pulled up but that's about it) or i just wont remember anything after that at all

the boy i'm crushing on right is Bill Kaulitz (obviously) from Tokio Hotel and i've had romantic dreams about him and me but hasn't turned drastic yet, lol, but the last dream i had where i got raped/or almost was by my crush in high school in a hotel room at my high school class reunion, which is weird cuz i only gradauted like 3 years ago and class reuions don't happen until like 10 years after you graduate......OMG! what if this is a prediction of the future!.......now i'm kinda cautious about going, ugh!

Why are you not chasing your dream?

Fulfilling your dreams isn’t easy and it never will be. In this answer, I will share things stopping you from being successful and how you can overcome them.Believing is seeing : People often believe in seeing is believing, you should do the inverse. Believe in yourself, believe in what your doing, give it the best shot you've got and don't ever have lack of belief.Need for motivation : Motivation is overrated. Discipline is what determines how far you'll go. Working now albeit blindly will ensure that you can chase any purpose you discover in the future. Motivation is crucial, but it's unreliable and inconsistent many times. You can rely only on yourself and your grit.Procrastination : One of the most important feature of unsuccessful and undisciplined man. Successful people never save work for tomorrow. They focus in everything that needs to be done, doesn't matter how long they took to complete it. some best athletes have been seen coming to the ground first and leaving last.Willing to settle for less : what would happen if NFL teams were willing to settle for conference championships instead of superbowls ? You should never ever change your image of success. No goal is impossible or crazy, it just takes determination and discipline to accomplish that. Don’t settle for anything less what you initially wanted. You don’t educate yourself : Even if you fail in something, there is always something that can be learnt from it. Many success stories starts with a failure and end up being a illustration. You can only boon by your success and failures. Try to educate yourself on things that can help you master your own goals.Stop stressing, start having fun : it is the most important thing one should be doing. At the end of the day, success is nothing if you aren’t having fun. It’s okay to have stressful moments on your way to success, at the end of the it would make you happy seeing your dream come true. If you don’t love what you do, you won’t be very good at it. You can try to love something, but it’s just not the same. Find some fun while chasing and be happy.:)Thank you !!

Is it any wrong with dreaming big?

No, there is nothing wrong with dreaming big. Dreams are the initial steps that trigger a person's potential and make him/her better. One should dream in a SMART way i.e.,S- SpecificM-measurableA- AchievableR- RealisticT- Time boundInfact dreaming big is a very good thing, but one should also be prepared for the consequences of not being able to make it. Dreaming is good but taking dreams too seriously may lead to depression and other smilar things. So, Dream big and work hard. BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAM, LIVE YOUR DREAM and Forget about the results, but be prepared for whatever the result you get. Dreams along with continuous and consistent efforts will surely fetch good and desired results. We all would have had many dreams from childhood. I too had a dream of becoming a cricketer and playing for my country. I worked hard, though not very hard but I enjoyed every phase of my dream. I joined different cricket clubs and met with many players, both famous and obscure. I never thought of where I would be in future. I Just wanted to live my dream. I played, enjoyed a lot but the saddest thing was I could not make it come true. But It is not the end, I didn't give up. I still believe in my dream. I may not be playing for my country but at least I dared to Dream big and all I can say that, I enjoyed and loved my dream.Like sachin paaji said, YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO CHASE YOUR DREAMS; DON’T STOP CHASING YOUR DREAMS BECAUSE DREAMS DO COME TRUE, just chase your dreams. Forget about the past and just keep moving and keep working. Give whatever you have to make it come true. Who knows the day would come where you would be proudly saying, “THIS WAS MY DREAM AND I MADE IT”.Sooooo remember,THE SIZE OF YOUR DREAMS WILL DEFINE THE SIZE OF YOUR SUCCESS (Note:- Terms & Conditions apply)Dream Big, Dream high cozzz SKY IS THE LIMIT.

Do you think the unknown people in your dreams exist somewhere?

Apparently people on here don't read the answers other people give. I have answered this SOOOO many times!

There is always a "purpose" to a dream. Everything that human beings thing, feel, or do has a purpose. It is part of what Dr. Alfred Adler called "the psychology of use."

Dreams don't come to you from the blue (or from a fictional "subconscious"). You make them up. You create them, just as you create your thoughts.

The purpose of your dreams while you are asleep is the same as your thoughts while you are awake. Their purpose is to solve your problems. (Your mind has other purposes as well as you create thoughts to give meaning to events in your life and to organize all your thoughts into a belief system.)

Figure out the purpose of a dream and you have its meaning. No one else can tell you what a dream means or interpret it for you. There are no codes or symbols in dreams. Dreams do not arise from your "subconscious" (the answerer no doubt meant "preconscious," the proper term) nor do they foretell the future.

Dreams are thoughts while you sleep, solving your problems. Please, folks, write this down so I won't have to explain it again!
