About Harry Potter Books And Ron Weasley

In what Harry Potter movie does Ron and Harry steal Mrs. Weasley's car?

Also, can someone tell me the page number of this quote in the book: RONALD WEASLEY!!! HOW DARE YOU STEAL THAT CAR?!? I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED!!! YOUR FATHER'S NOW FACING AN INQUIRY AT WORK, AND IT'S ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT!!! IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE, WE'LL BRING YOU STRAIGHT HOME!!!
Oh, and Ginny, dear, congratulations on making Gryffindor. Your father and I are so proud.

AND:

WHERE. HAVE. YOU. BEEN!?!?!?

Harry! How wonderful to see you, dear

Beds empty, no note, car gone!!! You could have DIED!! You could've BEEN SEEN!!!!

Of course, I don't blame you, Harry, dear

Can You give Me one simile from any Harry Potter book about Ron Weasley?

In OotP, when Ron is being insensitive, Hermione says that he has the emotional range of a teaspoon.

Is Ron Weasley the only funny one in the books? Are Harry Potter and Hermione Granger ever funny too?

Nope, Harry, Hermione, the twins, Dumbledore, Snape, and McGonagall are all hilarious. Just one example from them all…Harry: Yeah, Quirrell was a great teacher. There was just that minor drawback of him having Lord Voldemort sticking out of the back of his head.*Ron: It sounded like a load of waffle to me.Hermione: There was some important stuff hidden in the waffle.*Percy (solemn): Harry. How nice to see you.Harry (trying not to laugh): Hello, Percy.Fred (elbows Percy out of the way): Harry! Simply corking to see you, old boy!*Dumbledore: I have no intention of going to Azkaban. I could break out, of course, but what a waste of time, and frankly, I can think of a whole host of things I would rather be doing.*Umbridge: You applied for the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts originally I believe?Snape: Yes.Umbridge: But you were unsuccessful?Snape: Obviously.*McGonagall: I wonder how you intend to get an idea of how I teach if you keep interrupting me? You see, I do not usually permit people to talk while I am talking.Ron, you see, might be the funniest, but he is far from the only funny one.

Where did Harry Potter first meet Ron Weasley?

No no no. You have to remember this one. Ron and Harry first met the day after Harrys' parents died, when Dumbledore took him to the burrow to perform the bonding ritual between him (Harry) and Ginny. Ron was eating dirt off the floor, and Harry was floating toys around to amuse the twins. When Dumbledore saw how powerful Harry was, he bound 80% of his magic, and then 50% of his intellect (so he wouldn't grow a brain later, and wonder what the hell happened) and did the combined druid/celtic/morman ritual to bind him to the Weasleys for forever and a day. Then, he gave him to Hagrid to babysit, while sending Mcgonagall off to watch the Dursleys for a day (That way he could claim he was worried about who he was placing harry with). The rest is history. ( of course you know this is all cracked, but it's the only reason I can see for the way harry acted thruout the whole series, myself.)

In which Harry Potter book did Ron annoy you the most?

While Ron is a little dickish in Goblet of Fire, he snaps out of it fairly quickly. In Deathly Hallows, the locket Horcrux affects him more than the others. Again, he snaps out of it and redeems himself. In Half-Blood Prince, his treatment of Hermione — and Lavender Brown, as well — is indefensible. He acts jealous of Hermione, accepts her invitation to Slughorn’s party and then starts a relationship with Lavender.Does Ron actually like Lavender? No. He falls into her arms because she is convenient after Ginny wounds his ego. Ron soon grows tired of Lavender but doesn’t have the guts to break off the relationship. While Lavender is a rather silly girl, she deserves better than she gets from Ron. Hermione definitely deserves better than she gets from Ron in HBP.

Why is ron weasley not given as much importance in the harry potter movies as in the books?

Well,  how much time did you take to read the books and how much in watching the movies?  You have the answer there. :) Personally,  I believe that Harry Potter movies are a lot more 'fairytaleesqe'  than the Harry Potter books.  Books are much more descriptive and a wonderful read for adults as well. Not so much with movies. Movies needs a hero for it to sell.  This makes sense as you don't have people necessarily watching all the movies while readers are part of the bigger picture and build their world around the books.  Harry has a lot more aura built from the start of the series and that makes movies sell.  Considering the kind of investment involved in movies,  pushing harry and not his friends,  and not even He_who_must_not_be_named is a thought in the same directionFinally, people come and see a movie.  Readers build their world around the books.  :)

Is Ron Weasley a relative of Harry Potter? Are they related?

Apart from being brothers-in-law, let's see if we can relate them in some other way. They are most probably related as Sirius once said that most pureblood familes are related. So Potters and Weasleys may be related. Also, we know that Harry and Voldemort are related as both of them are descended from the famed Perevell Brothers. Bellatrix is the mother of Delphi(Voldemort's daughter according to Cursed Child). So we have managed to relate Harry and Bellatrix. Bellatrix is Sirius' cousin. So Sirius and Harry are also related. Sirius mentions in Order of the Pheonix that Arthur(Ron's dad) and Molly(Ron's Mum) are related to him, but they were burnt out of the family tree as they were blood traitors. So Harry is related to Sirius and Sirius is related to the Weasleys.Hence proved,Harry and Ron are remotely related.

Would you rather date Harry Potter/Ron Weasley/Draco Malfoy or an idiot from Twilight?

Definitely Twilight, harry potter is bad and i have watched a few of the movies and they sucked. No offence to any one but that's my opinion.
I like stephanie myers type of writing and i enjoyed the whole story, i think it was a good idea and i never liked vamps and stuff before that but my opinion has changed now thanks to twilight.
My friends love harry potter but they also love twilight, they tried to get me to like harry potter as well but something was missing for me eventhough that was my type of story. I don't find the harry potter story enjoyable . I don't like it but i have tried it several times and never found an interest whereas twilight made me want to read the books because they were so good and enjoyable.
Well actually i have tried the books and they sucked just as much as the movies, they are stupid and don't show how teenages actually think or react. Twilight shows real emotions and is a story everybody can relate to- with the emotions part not the vampire part. I do agree though that the movies are never as good as the books sometimes but wit twiligt both are amazing.

Who was closer to Hermione Granger, Harry Potter or Ron Weasley?

Ron Weasley was closer to Hermione.Harry, Ron and Hermione all had a very close relationship, and they all loved each other. But what many people are missing is that Hermione’s and Harry’s friendship was dependent on Ron. In the Deathly Hallows book, there was no cute dancing scene after Ron left. On the contrary, this is what Harry told Ron after he returned:“After you left, she cried for a week. Probably longer, only she didn’t want me to see. There were loads of nights when we never even spoke to each other. With you gone…”Hermione’s standing between her two best friends when she suddenly needs to lean against someone. Who does she chose?Ron (not Harry) was the one who was able to drag Hermione out of her books. He could make her laugh, play games, relax and have some fun once in a while. Sure, they argued quite a lot, but close friends should be able to tell each other when they think the other one’s doing something wrong. Harry never did that, even though he usually agreed with Ron.And, despite the arguing, Ron always supported Hermione when it really mattered. Don’t confuse the Ron in the movies (left) with the true Ron in the books (right). The previous answers tells us that Harry and Hermione were closer because:Harry and Hermione had adventures without Ron. BUT Ron and Hermione had adventures without Harry, too. They went to the Chamber of Secrets alone together.Harry supported Hermione when Ron dated Lavender. BUT he only returned to her when Ron was busy snogging, otherwise he stayed with Ron.Ron hesitated to save Hermione from the troll in their first year. BUT he hesitated because he had almost no magical experience, not because he wanted her to die. There’s a reason why Hermione fell in love with Ron, and not Harry. Ron was simply closer to her.
