About How Much Would A Tattoo Cost

How much would a tattoo this size cost?

Totally depends on “where on Earth you are right now”.But I can say in advance that a tattoo like this one in the photo, and not a tattoo of the same size, would cost very little, as tattoo prices go.A similar tattoo is very simple, requires very little ink and would probably get done in 30min. A cheaper tattoo would be the heart, but not that much cheaper. It is almost, as cheap as it gets for a tattoo. The guy that makes my tattoos charges R$ 400 (aprox US$ 95) per session, that can last for up to three hours. But such a simple (and not so big) tattoo could be done, for say, R$ 200?Now, as for the size. Size is really NOT the issue here. A tattoo of that same size could be hugely complex, it could be an Escher drawing. It could be a mandala, with 10 colours. That would cost you, at least, that full session (R$ 400) or more.By the way, I live in Rio. I don’t have a clue how much tattoos cost in London, Paris, NY or Sydney.

How much is the cost of a tattoo on a wrist?

It depends on the size, complexity of the tattoo and the amount of colors/ shades of black/grey used. That being said. Tattoo shops have overhead, so even if you wanted an X with two thin lines in black, the tattooer still has to, pour ink (which will be thrown away after), open up a new needle, draw the stencil, apply it to your liking, fire up their gun and do the tattoo, then, apply ointment, and finally wrap you up and send you home. So, even with said X - many shops charge a shop minimum for any tattoo no matter how small or insignificant of I’d say 40 on the low end to 80/100 for a shop that has a serious name. Making the midpoint around 50/60 bucks for any tattoo that is small.Make the X red one stroke, and pink the other, now they are opening up and using another ink requiring another needle etc. Then the tubes have to be flushed as well. Needles thrown away, so on and so forth.

How Much Would This Tattoo Cost Roughly?

Some tattoo studios have a base minimum price. This meaning, that you will pay a minimum of usually $50 for the tattoo. Depending where you're from, the quality of the tattoo artist, popularity of the shop, etc.... the minimum could be lower, or higher.
If there isn't a minimum, expect a quarter sized tattoo to be right around 25 dollars.... then factor in the tip, and it'd be around $35 to $40.
Over all though, for a smaller tattoo, on the neck, or and even smaller one behind the ear I'd have $60 in my pocket to be safe.
But, really, any answer you get on here is just going to give you a rough idea. All tattoo shops are different, as are the artists that determine their own pricing. So, if you find a shop you like, just go ask how much they'd think it'd be. Have your money on you, so if you like they're price, you can just have them ink you.

How much do small tattoos cost?

Due to the overhead a tattoo shop takes on they always have a shop minimum. This means that even to do your Line (literally a black line) on your forearm will cost at least the shop minimum. Although the tattoo takes all but 30 seconds and no redrawing of artwork, they still have to run the gun, use ink then throw the rest out, use a pair of gloves, use a needle, then discard, wrap you up, after applying ointment, etc. etc.All these accoutrements are not free for the shop.Depending on the shop, location and artists that work there a minimum could be anywhere from $40 to over $100.Suggested - max out your tattoo for the amount of money you spend.Usually once you get one you get another and another….

How much would a tattoo of a small dot cost?

Based on previous answers, I guess it just depends on who the artist is, but from my experience, most tattoo shops have a minimum charge (usually $50 from what I've seen). This might seem really expensive for something like a "dot" or "small heart" or any other "tiny" tattoo. However, you have to keep in mind that tattoo shops have to pay for stuff like sterile needles, disposable nitrile gloves, paper towels, inks, ink cups, ointment, etc. and they still have to use these supplies on you, even if you're just getting a tiny tattoo. Also, the tattoo artist still has to set up their station and all their supplies (wash their hands, clean the chair, connect their machine, prep the ink, etc.) even for just your tiny tattoo. I am sure you would have a minimum charge if you were in their situation too. So...if you can find someone to do it for a really low price, then great, but don't be surprised if you ask around and find out that the cheapest it will be is $50 or so.

How much would a tattoo of a 5 letter name cost?

It really depends on how elaborate the letters are. Typically for just basic block letter name, it'd be at least $20 (cost of needles, ink, time, etc) + tip. Really you should go into a shop and get a quote from a particular artist. I've seen names go for a couple hundred depending on how elaborate they are. I would anticipate spending between $40-70 depending on complexity, plus it's customary to tip the artist.
