About How Much Would This Amount To

If your bill was $350, how much would be a fair amount to tip?

I tip around 20% because I know how hard the wait staff works and how little they make, but my bill is like $20 or less so $4 isn’t that much.

It’s 10% if the service is poor ($35).
15% if it’s good service ($53)
20% if it’s exceptional service ($70).

Typically it’s 15%. Some places will charge a mandatory 15% if your party exceeds a certain amount of people (6 or more in most cases).

If you’re in France, nothing. A few dollars if the service is exceptional. In Europe, wait staff don’t make minimum salary and don’t depend on tips to survive.

How much is a liberal amount?

I got some mg217 to help me grow my hair (I'm a teenager and my hair is thinning and coming out) and the bottle says use a liberal amount. How much is a liberal amount?

How much would 40 pounds of $100 bills amount to?

One US Currency note, regardless of denomination, weighs approximately one gram.

As there are 454 grams in 1 pound, then there are 18,160 grams/bills in 40 pounds.

Thus, 40 pounds of $100 would equal $1,816,000.

** This of course is dependent upon whether the bills were wet or dry, but it will give you an idea. Your friend, by the way, is a millionaire. But he could go to prison if he doesn't turn it in to the police. Misappropriation of lost property, especially nearly 2 million dollars is a big crime.

How much is a fair amount to charge to do someone's makeup? (Please read details)?

I'd say $20-$25 for basic makeup is perfect and $10 for strip lash application is dead on (that's actually what I charge to do strip lashes too). Anything less than that would really be underselling yourself. If you think about it, under $20 would be about the price of a drugstore foundation. If people are coming to you for your knowledge and experience with makeup, then don't feel bad charging for a service. Of course you don't want to blow them away with your prices while you're still developing a clientele, but you also don't want to sell yourself short or not be able to cover the expense of your materials.

I would've charged a bit more for the photo shoot, but if you're new to the whole experience I guess it's okay. If you get more photo shoot gigs, raise your prices a bit.

I say keep your prices the same for maybe a year so that people will get used to the idea of you doing makeup, they'll get used to your work, and your clients can quote a price to their friends. Then if you see lots more people coming to you the following year, up your prices by $5 or so. Good luck!
