How do I empty my Drafts folder?
Open the drafts folder. Click the box at the top of the box column. Click delete. Drafts should be deleted when you send an email. They only remain if you save to drafts or there is a crash and you do not send them. I have never seen a message nagging me to clear space. It may be a scam. They allow a terabyte. Why do my emails end up in my draft folder?

then send a copy of the draft email to yourself (open draft folder, go to draft you want to keep, continue composing, put your email in address bar, email it)... then put it in a folder... once done delete the draft copy one

Hi, most probably it is a rule set (may be by mistake) on your (Rules and Alerts) options under the (Tools) menu. Please open the (Tools) pulldown menu, select (Rules and Alerts) then check the first rule (Move messages from "e-mail account with trouble" to the "Drafts" folder)

There's always a limit, even if the limit is the available amount of free space Quora's database has.There probably is a lower one than that, since as you can imagine, running out of space is a Very Bad Thing. For something like that on a public-facing service, it's a good idea to set some kind of "sanity" limit that your average (or even well above average) user will never encounter, but that a badly written (or malicious) bot or script just might. It's basic protection against a denial-of-service attack, whether such an attack is accidental or deliberate. It is probably not sufficient protection; you also need rate throttling and various things like that, but it's good to have as a failsafe.
Draft folders and mail misdirected to spam?
I have two problems. When I save emails to drafts with addresses on bcc/cc, the email does not retain the addresses in these fields when email is open again. Is this a glitch or operator error? Also, randomly mail I send is put in the spam folder (even mail I've sent to myself FROM yahoo.. using the TO: field).. what kind of filtering would make this happen?

If you look at your Draft folder now are they still there? Gmail automagically saves a draft every now and then while you write an email just in case something happens. The email should dissappear from the Draft folder when you send the email but it will for instance stay there if you have selected "Delayed sending" (so you can cancel a send of the email) until the email is actually sent.

The only one I have is dated September 19. I didn’t send it (and am not going to) because I decided to call that person instead. It was about setting up a time to have an electrician come to my house to do an estimate.And now I’m going to delete it.
