Can I, by any chance, convert .dmg file to .exe file ?
Actually I have windows 7 as my OS. I was tryin' to download screenflow which is used to record screen videos. (: But its only available in Mac supporting format that is .dmg . So can I get a converter of .dmg to .exe or is there any other software that can help record videos of the desktop and zoom in and out the screen and help me out so that I can put those on Youtube. (: xx
MS Access 97 - way to not allow backdoor entry to database?
Not so far as I know. The only thing the supersedes the "backdoor" is a File password, but there can only be one per file, so if they have to use it the DB at all they would know the password. But Check the Microsoft Knowledge Base. There may be a way using VB Scripting (Modules). Even if You DO bypass that Key, If someone knows enough about MS Access and has the file password they can simply "IMPORT ALL" the forms and such into a NEW database and bypass all of the setups. MS Access is designed for small businesses and personal use, so is kind of lite on the security... If Your THAT concerned with security maybe You should consider converting it to a VB application. That would require BOTH the VB Editor to be installed on their PC AND that they have the "Project Files" for the application before they could see ANY of the background code (but they could RUN the application without either of those items). OR replace everyone's "MSACESS.exe" with "Access Run-Time" (it's a limited version that has no Design capabilities).
Work computer won't allow ITUNES to be installed...how do I get my music?
you can do one of two things. The simplest is to ask permission to install Itunes from IT. Usually they will give you access as the installation is a general filter and not program specific. If they still won't let you then you need to get on your home PC. Copy and paste your Ituens library into a separate folder then copy that folder to a storage device(ie Flash Drive, CD) I recommend a large flash drive. From here you transfer the files to your work PCs MyMusic folder and then have WMP convert the files for you.
Edit .Exe files in Visual studio?
If you bring it in as an EXE then it will give you access to the resources at best. If you bring it in as a binary file you can edit the hex values. However, you will most likely not end up with a usable program at the end of it. At least the O/S will not load it because the program checksum no longer matches the content of the file. So, short answer, no.

By default and concept you can not do this natively, .exe files are designed only to run on Windows systems. If by any chance you need to run one on MAC (which i don't recommend cause is messy). You can do about 3 main things.Install an emulator like WINE or some others in the market. I understand companies want to keep it separated but the final user suffers the consecuences. I personally consider that nowadays Mac is an OS to work, cool but somehow still limited, if you're a programmer I recommend Mac. But if you want an OS to do anything, work, play games, all kind of stuff, then you need Windows (besides modularity is a major topic, I can customize hardware components). On the other hand Windows tends to have more bugs.

If you have a cab file surely you must have Setup.exe. Search for it and if not read the instructions in the info. If you find Setup.exe run it to install the game.
