Accidentally Formatted My Hdd

I accidentally formatted my hard drive to my Xbox 360. How can I retrieve my data I lost from the format?

How do you accidentally format a 360 hard drive? You have to enter your consoles serial number to format it. Regardless of how you managed it theres still nothing you can do, if that program manages to restore them then great but i wouldn't pin too many hopes on it.

I ACCIDENTALLY FORMATTED MY 1TB HARD DRIVE SOMEONE HELP!?

I got a 1tb external hard drive for the wii u because i bought the 8gb version (if you want full games on the eShop you have to have more memory) but when i connected my hard drive the wii u wanted to format it before it let me use it for the wii u so i did that and i also wanted to use it for my computer and some other things now it doesnt work at all. The light comes on and the fan spins in the hard drive but the computer or the wii u wont detect it. here is some information about the hard drive.

I accidentally formatted my genuine windows OS. Now my laptop does not have any OS. How can I retrieve my product key?

Hello BOSS don't worry about your original product key….. go and download RELOADER final version in order to activate windows without any problem and without any fake windows notification….but if you want the original product key YOU CAN RECOVER it from from your windows by installing software like “MAGICAL JELLY BEAN KEY FINDER” which will FIND AND GIVE THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT KEY OF YOUR WINDOWS OR EVEN OFFICE…!!!!

My external hard drive was accidentally formatted during reinstallation of WinXP...?

1. Don't panic, and definitely do *not* format the drive, or write anything at all to it.
2. Plug the drive into another computer and see what happens. Hopefully it will work fine.
3. If it's still screwed up, download and run http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk and pray that it can restore your data. When restoring your data, copy it to another drive, or else you may over-write the data you're recovering, thereby losing it permanently.

Accidentally formatted whole hard drive for Macbook Pro A1278?

BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO THE TERMINAL:

Don't use it until you learn how.
Don't use it when the task is more safely and easily done in the GUI.
Don't use it no matter what until you make a backup of valuable stuff.

END OF GUIDE.

In fact, I'm sure you say "Terminal" when you should say "single-user mode". Terminal is an app in the normal OS X startup. You open Terminal.app from the /Applications/Utilities, and it looks like a text app with the desktop picture behind it and all is normal.

Single-user mode is a UNIX startup. That happens when the Mac OS files are very wacky or if you hold command and S key during startup. The entire 100% of the screen is black with white text that makes little sense to the average person.

"I received my disk and tried to install but..."
But you didn't install, so do that. Also, when you boot to the DVD (option key), go past the language choice, and open Disk Utility from the Utilities menu to "Repair Disk" and "Repair Disk Permissions" before you even start the installation.
