Accidentally Switched My Paragon Crt Lenses

What happens if I wear the wrong contact lenses in the wrong eyes?

Another way to tell if your contact lens is inside out is to perform the "pinch test" or "taco test". Either place the contact on your thumb and forefinger or on that crease on your hand just below your pinky. Pinch the contact lens gently; if the contact lens folds like a taco it is not inside out. If it sticks to your finger or hand it is inside out.

For most people there would be no significant problem if you accidentally switched contact lenses except for maybe blurred vision. Doctors usually advise against this even if both eyes are the same prescription so you could not accidentally spread any possible infections from one eye to the other.

I accidentally Switched My Eye Contacts! Help!?

I took my contacts off and went to sleep, When i woke up, my baby sister had unscrewed caps for the container. Now i don't know which one is my right contact and which one is my left contact! Is there any way i can know which one is which? is there a small inscription or something on the contacts? PLEASE HELP! I have an eye exam for my contacts in 2 hours, it will be very embarrising to wear my contacts switched. I have put them in my eys and they look just fin either way they are put in. But i need to know though!

I had recently mixed up my contact lenses. How do I know which contact lens is left or right?

Assuming the the pair is the same-same brand, same base-curve etecetera and only the power is different between them, then medically it doesn’t matter if you wear them in the wrong eye - it will do no harm - so you are free to experiment and determine which way round works best for you.If you still can’t tell (such as if the power difference is only slight) just make sure you resume the right way round when you start new lenses after these ones are discarded. If you can’t remember which power goers in which eye, then contact the optometrist who derived the prescription with you - they can pull your record and let you know.Alternatively, you can try to pick any of the contact lens to wear on your right eye, one at a time to see which one gives you a better vision or you can see better, read a line on newspaper or book, and look straight out of the window to see people or cars, then take that first lens out and try to wear the second one on the same right eye to see how clear you can see. You can tell which one is the right lens, if this one is for right eye, the other one must be for the left eye.All in all, sometimes it's better to wear daily disposable contacts if you're sure you'll mix them every now and then. You'll be all set the following day with a new pair and they are far more hygienic than the other types of contacts. We are more than happy to help you with all of your contact lenses questions and any other related vision question you might have. What would happen if i put my right contact in my left eye and left contact in my right eye?

If you have a different prescription for your eyes, you should be able to tell based on whether your vision is blurry or not. It won't cause damage to your eye if you accidentally put in the wrong contact, but wearing the wrong prescription for an extended period of time could damage your sight in the long run. If your vision is ok with your contacts in, you should have nothing to worry about.
