Acer Aspire Laptop Re-install

I have installed wireless drivers in my Acer Aspire E5-473 laptop, yet the wi-fi is not turning on in it. How do I fix this problem?

Have you tried pressing Fn+“The function key with wifi symbol” ? It should turn on the wifi if the wifi drivers are installed properly. If this doesn’t solve the problem, go to network and sharing center (right click the wifi/LAN icon in the taskbar) and click change adapter setting (it’s on the left pane). If it looks like thisRight click the wifi and click enable. If you can’t see the Wi-Fi or it is enabled and you can’t connect, uninstall all wireless drivers and find the correct drivers from here and install them.Good luck!

How do I install Ubuntu 18.04 on an Acer Aspire ES1 732-P48C?

That laptop uses an Intel Atom-based N4200 SoC from the Apollo Lake series which means that you cannot use a generic Ubuntu amd64 or i386 .iso file due to the locked-down UEFI firmware which expects an EFI executable.Unfortunately, Ubuntu still uses the old style grub2 bootloader (instead of a pure EFI-based solution such as efistub or systemd-boot) so you will need to ‘respin’ the Ubuntu ISO before creating your bootable media/usb. This will replace Grub2 with an EFI boot manager which will allow the system to boot using the iso file and load the kernel directly without using any bootloader. For the guide, check out this link:Running and installing Ubuntu and Ubuntu flavours on Apollo Lake devicesNote that you won’t be able to use grub2 or any other legacy bootloader on those devices. Attempting to reinstall grub2 will make the installation unbootable.

How do I restore an Acer Aspire 4710 to its original factory state?

I got a used Acer Aspire 4710 for my brother-in-law for Christmas and I want to give it to him with a completely clean system. I do not have any restore CD--all I have is the laptop. I'm living in Vietnam now (US citizen) so I cannot have the company ship me a CD (if it were available). What I'm looking for is either:
- a place where I can download the .iso or .zip/tar/etc of the restore CD, or
- if the restore is partitioned, how do I activate it?

I have checked Google unsuccessfully. Please do NOT respond with "use your restore cd," as I have clearly stated that I don't have one and can't get one from Vietnam. Thanks.

Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted.)" Then I press OK it pretends to boot but it just goes back to the same Acer eRecovery Management (V7.0.5) and no matter how many times I turn on and off the computer it always appears........first the Acer logo pops up then it says "windows is loading files" it asks me to wait a while and it then sends me to the eRecovery Management....even if I press exit it boots back into that...
