Ad User Logs In To A Fresh Profile And Can

How do I delete all user data and files on my Windows 10 PC without reformatting?

The way I usually do this, is to make a new local Admin user account, then logout of your current user profile, login to the new account, and delete your account. This process looks complicated, but only takes about 5 minutes to do.This keeps any software installed, but deletes all information related to your profile. To do this:1)Click Start -> Settings -> Accounts -> Family & other people -> Add someone else to this PC -> Add a user without a Microsoft account2)Enter a new name to use for the user name, and then select Next.3)A new User has been created, but it will be a Standard user, not an Admin user:4)To change the User type, Click on the user in the red rectangle, then click Change account type:5)You will then see this:6)Click on Administrator, then OK.The account is now an Administrator.7)The next step, is to logout of your current user profile. To do this, press Ctrl + Alt+Delete, and click Sign out8)Then, click on the new account you just created, and sign into the new account. This account will take a minute to setup, as it will create the basic settings and desktop for the new user profile the first time you sign in.9)Now you need to go back into User Accounts again:Click Start -> Settings -> Accounts -> Family & other people10)You should see your account listed in this window.Click on your account, then click Remove, and your data will be deleted, but you will be left with the new user account you are currently logged into.

How do I get permission to access a file?

If you face this problem while accessing just some of the files at some specific locations, you can
1. Right click the file, go to “Properties> Security> Advanced> Owner” and change the “Owner” to the current user account (to check the username, click ‘Start’ and look for the name at the top of the start menu).
2. Then, get back to the ‘Security’ tab in ‘Properties’ and check the box under ‘Allow’ next to ‘Full Control’ for all the users listed under ‘Group or user name’.
3. Click ‘Add’, type ‘everyone’ in the box and click ‘Check Names’. Click OK.
4. ‘Allow’ full control to ‘Everyone’ too.

But if it’s a problem with most of the files on the system that used to (or, are supposed to) work fine, create a fresh user account:

1. To do so, go to Start> Control Panel> User Accounts. You can name the new user account something similar to the affected one (not exactly the same though). Make sure you create this one as an ‘Administrator’ if the old one was an Administrator account.
2. Restart the computer or just log off and logon to the new user and check if it is working.
3. You can transfer the data over to the new account by copying the folders in C:\Documents and Settings\ and pasting them in C:\Documents and Settings\. For Windows Vista or Windows 7, look for ‘Users’ instead of ‘Documents and Settings’. Click to merge files when you get the prompt.

Note: Do not copy hidden files. Ntuser.dat files contain user profile information and copying these files will transfer the corruption over.

You would still be able to use programs on the new user account through Start> All Programs.

Once you are absolutely convinced that all the files have been transferred over, you can delete the corrupted user account from Start> Control Panel> User Accounts.

Now that Netflix has profiles how can I remove the kid stuff from my watched list and suggestions?

Unfortunately you can't change the stuff that's already on your main profile. You can either keep watching on that profile and with time the kid stuff will be filtered out or just create a new, fresh profile to watch from.

I'm missing Tweets or DMs
Tweets on my profile are cut off after a specific date:
Remember that we only display your 3,200 most recent Tweets. Truncated profile timelines can be caused by:

Users deleting many Tweets in a row from their profile.
Users who run a mass-deletion program like TwitWipe, TweetEraser, or DeleteMyTweets.com on their profile.
We do not advise using mass-deletion programs. If you deleted many Tweets because you wanted a fresh start on Twitter, click here for instructions on how to start over afresh.
Tweets more than a week old may fail to display in timelines or search because of indexing capacity restrictions. Old Tweets are never lost, but cannot always be displayed.
