Addicted To Drawing On Hands

Addicted to drawing on hands?

Well hello
My question is - do you do this as well? I draw on my hands all the time. But I have to admit it's kinda different. I started with a pen (that's typical, right? during boring lessons etc.) But it wasn't just typical names or smileys. I was drawing on my hand literally everything, bats, skeleton hands, death star from Star Wars, stuff from Alice in Wonderland, constellation and stars - it was like serious thing for me. Then I was told that it could be bad drawing with a pen/sharpie on my skin. I was looking for some different ways to draw on my skin. Then it just hit me - people use eyeliner pens to draw stuff on their faces. Why not to try it on hands then? ..It really works! People keep telling me stuff like "it's such a waste of eyeliner". Or they think I am crazy, because I did that much just for drawing on my hands again.
But for me it's like make-up, part of my style. Even some people asked me : "is that a tattoo?"
I think of that as a part of my outfit. I had so many motives - mark from Kuroshitsuji, minimalistic stripes, stitches inspired by Suzuya from Tokyo Ghoul and other stuff

And always when there's nothing on my hand I feel sad and less confident. It's impossible to see me without having anything on my hand. Real tattoo hurts and it's forever so nothing for me.

Is there a name for addiction to drawing?

I prescribe to you 300 pages of paper, stat.
haha, there's nothing wrong with you! draw to your hearts content and then more!
Just remember to make sure you do your homework as well.
I would say keep your sketch book right next to your homework so you can keep it clean.
If you keep your grades up, you could even get to study art in university! (like me :D )

I couldn't find a term for you though. :(
Artophilia is the love of art. Close?

I am addicted to drawing on myself. help?

I do the same thing.
I cant stop. I just wear something to cover my hands.
Ex: Fingerless gloves, long sleeves. Etc.

Am I addicted to drawing on myself?

I know it sounds really weird, but it kinda is. Since year 7 I've been drawing on my arms and legs, recently my friends tell me they see me doing it when I don't know that I am. It's really confusing because sometimes after lesson I notice a drawing that I don't remember doing,as if I just do it automatically. I have to keep washing the drawings off every night otherwise I feel irritated the next day when I have no space left to draw again. Is it an addiction or what? o.o

How can I solve my anime addiction?

i have had the same problem with a manga ,so think about it this way if you keep watching anime on the rate you are watching soon there won't be a lot of good ones to watch .

also make a monthly schedule of days you can watch anie in the week ,this way you'll get to feel the anticipation and try thinking about the anime on the days you can't watch ONLY before going to sleep , this way you'll get to think more about the story and come up with your own solutions instead of just figuring out what happens next .

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT : once you start watching something don't google about it , i learned this the hard way if you read spoilers you would want to know what happens next .

and if you are a student think about it logically anime time = less studying time and you have your entire life to watch what you want but only one chance to study and build up your life so what i am saying is don't want too much of your time so you don't regret it later in life

Is it dangerous to draw on people's skin with sharpies? I have concerns about toxicity.

Sharpies are a permanent marker commonly found wherever office/school supplies are sold.Permanent markets, such as Sharpies, are fairly benign when applied to intact skin.To my knowledge, they typically do not deeply penetratate the outer keretinized lining of the skin (epidermis). They will stain your skin temporarily until your body grows a new layer of epidermis and the ink is shed along with old skin cells. Moreover, most commercial inks have formulas with minimal, if any, toxicity. This is especially true with anything marketed to kids.Kids (and some adults) like to put art supplies in their mouth and other places they are not intended to go. Toxic formulas would expose the manufacturer to legal liability. There are markers designed specifically for use on skin. These are used by surgeons to make patients for surgery and tattoos artists to lay out designs on skin.If you want to draw on yourself, I suggest using these types of purpose built markers. They are cheap and can be bought online.I do not recommend using regular permanent markers to draw on large portions of skin. While many manufacturers have non toxic formulas, others may not. Be safe and use all products as directed.

Why do many people attracted or addicted to cartoon characters?

it's because they are an ideal man or woman. i am definitely in love with japanese anime men especially. these men are portrayed to be perfect: perfect beauty, perfect personality and very seductive. for me, it's better to live in a fantasy world than in reality.

in reality, not a lot of men appeal to me. on the other hand, japanese anime/manga character are way more appealing
