Question about CPS (Child Protective Services)?
I'm wrote this from my iphone from school. I'm not worried about the grammar of my long ramble, I'm a nervous wreck. I passed my drug test because I don't do drugs and I had no clue that stuff was in my home. Secondly, any idiot can use a chair to get into a cabinet I realize that, I meant it was in an area where I don't store anything or ever get into. The fact of the matter is, the man was the problem, he's out and I pressed the charges. Everything is good on my side of the matter. They are coming on Wed. to see me and I was just wondering out of curiosity for anyone who's gone through this, if they are closing my case b.c I followed the "safety plan". I appreciate the decent answers. If you don't like what someone writes, why waste time answering some snotty answer? That's the real question I have for you negative people on here. I am a good mother beyond feeding and clothing them. I have a very close bond with my children and couldn't spend a day without them. Thanks.
Why do women get over-protective when it comes to their boyfriends?
A few of my guy firneds have recently got back into a relationship and everytime we meet up and their girlfriends' are around I can sense that their girlfriends dislike me, even if I'm friends with their girlfriends. Their girlfriends' never say or show obvious signs of body language indicating that they want me to stay away from their boyfriend but I can just feel it. Also guys start ignoring their friends who are girls and sisters when they get into a relationship. Will it ever go away or am I always doomed to losing a guy friend everytime he falls inlove?
Can I refuse to be questioned by Adult protective services?
I don't have much room so here it goes. I have considerable reason to believe adult protective services is accusing me of a crime. Specifically threatening to kill my mom. I've never been asked if its true and even had the cops called on me. I think I have a legal problem and have a right to avoid them even though they have a job to do. I think I'm obviously the target and would be a moron to submit to an interview without legal counsel present. Only one problem. I don't have a lawyer. I have checked some things out however I'm not sure. On one hand I can refuse to talk to them. On the other they can get a court order. If I think I'm in real legal trouble, can I refuse to be questioned or submit to an interview? Question must be answered before November 28. Best answer determined by legal input and links.
Can your kids be taken away if you live in a hotel?
Me and my boys lived in hotels for years because we were homeless. No one could take them away because they had a roof over their heads, we weren't abusing them, and they were clean and safe. They didn't run around in dirty clothes or unsupervised. Also, if they had their vaccinations up to date.Once they became school age, however, life became a little more difficult as the school needed an address. We used the hotels addy, but people tried to make issues because we weren't living traditionally. The school tried to say they couldn't accept the kids without a permanent address: bull. They are protected by Homeless laws.Teachers questioned the children to see if they were abused, why they lived where they did, and we even had the police called because of where we lived. The police had to answer the call and we allowed them to examine the room, check to see if there was food in the refrigerator, whether or not each child had a bed off the floor, whether they had clean clothes, and if there were any signs of drug use. They went on their way and we later found a 20 dollar bill that mysteriously showed up in our bathroom. The only thing that may be called into question is mixed gender children. That I have no idea about, especially since in regards to at least Florida and New York state laws, boy and girl children need to be seperated at age five.
Elk hunting trip. Take the dog or leave her?
In November me, my grandpa, my cousin, and my dad are renting a couple horses and going overnight(not sure how mant days) in the mountains of Colorado to Elk hunt. I enjoy hunting but being a 15 year old girl I cant always keep up with them. I was thinking of staying behind at the camp and just cooking and cleaning for the guys sometimes since I dont want to slow them down. Could my 4 year old female Lab come? Shes in good shape, horses dont bother her, she is really protective and I would feel safer with her...she could sleep with me and my dad in our tent. I would put extra blankets, water, and food for her on one of the horses or just carry them myself. Is this okay or no?
Drug testing newborns in Colorado for marijuana?
In regards to marijuana, do they drug test all newborns for it in Colorado? I was told if a newborn tests positive for THC child services will be notified but since so many are testing positive they will not take away your baby. Do they tell you the results of the marijuana drug test in front of your family? I do not want a lecture from my family or from you, just some answers please
Is it legal for parents to allow their 13 year old daughter to have sex with her boyfriend at home?
Since I have no way of knowing what state you are living in, I can't tell you the legal age of consent. But I can tell you that 13 is NOT the age of consent in any state in the United States!! See the list below. There will be legal problems for the girls parents, and for the boy and his parents if he is underage, too. This is exactly why there are laws regarding the age of consent. It is indeed parental neglect. It is also 100% without a doubt child endangerment, child abuse, and disgusting to boot. She needs to be in protective custody, her parents need to go to jail and the boy she's having sex with needs his butt kicked. Please call your local police department, tell them what you know; that the 13 year old is on the pill and sexually active. That her parents think it's okay for her to have sex since she's on the pill. You might be the only hope this child has at a normal life! Call the police and ask them if you need to call Child Protective Services or will they do that, tell them everything and ask for help. AGE of CONSENT: Alabama 16 Alaska 16 Arizona 18 Arkansas 16 California 18 Colorado 15 Connecticut 15 D.C. 16 Delaware 16 Florida 16/18 (bill pending) Georgia 16 Hawaii 14 Idaho 14 Illinois 16/17 Indiana 16 Iowa 18 Kansas 16 Kentucky 16 - [1] Louisiana 17 Maine 16 Maryland 16 Massachusetts 16/18 Michigan 16 Minnesota 16 Mississippi 16 - [2] Missouri 17 Montana 16 Nebraska 16 Nevada 16 New Hampshire 16/18 New Jersey 16/18 New Mexico 17 New York 17 North Carolina 16 North Dakota 18 Ohio 16 Oklahoma 16 Oregon 18 Pennsylvania 16 Rhode Island 16 South Carolina 14/16 South Dakota 16 Tennessee 18 Texas 17 Utah 16/18 Vermont 16 Virginia 15 Washington 16 West Virginia 16 Wisconsin 18 Wyoming 16 Puerto Rico 18 Maybe this link can provide you with some phone numbers and resources to help you save that little girl. http://kids.getnetwise.org//trouble/nati...
