Advice About A Halloween Party

I need advice on Halloween Costumes!?

You might not have time now as your cutting it close but keep this idea for next year. I had mine made and took my idea to a taylor It was the victorian style era. and the crennelin underneath with long black fish net gloves a fan and a feather in my floppy hat. and a wig. and then the makeup on the face of course and a neck broach. I studied a picture i liked and picked out the material i like which happen to be all leopard hehe and had it done. I won first prize. and so be it at the same party was a victorian style dressed man and we had our picture taken together.

if time is short. go to a vintage type store found in any big city. look for something you like and big around the skirt area so you can buy the crennalin and put it in yourself. white gloves any major dept. store will have. Tiara any jewelry store the ones in the malls not the real diamond and gold jewelry stores.

So your best bet again for the different style dress try the thrift or vintage store. If you can sew or get a taylor thats a plus. if all else fails go to a sewing place pick out the pattern you want and fabric and give it to your taylor he'll do your measurements and have it done.l You may have to tip him a bit more so he will rush your order condsidering your running out of time.
GOood luck.

What is some good party advice for teens?

It depends on how many people are coming, to be honest. When I have parties, there are usually only 9-15 people coming, and it's pretty laid back. A fun party doesn't have to be complicated. If you are bored talking and watching Netflix, just ask the group "you guys want to do something"? Then play a game. Just remember that games don't make a party, friends do. Feel free to message me with questions.

Going As Smurfette For Halloween? Need Some Advice On Body Paint?

If you need it to last all day, you have a couple of options. The best option is Blue Liquid Body Latex. It stays in place until you deliberately peel it off of your skin. It doesn't crack or chip easily and is great for long days at work or school. BuyCostumes sells it, but you can find it at most Halloween Superstores as well: http://www.buycostumes.com/Colored-Liquid-Body-Latex/32266/ProductDetail.aspx

Make sure if you use a standard makeup that you use a grease based makeup and not a powder makeup. The powder makeup will not make you look Smurf blue. Grease based makeup is difficult to remove, so make sure you have some baby oil or Vaseline to help with the removal process. Cream makeups work well as well, the Avatar Kit comes with a dark blue Smurf Blue makeup color: http://www.costumeexpress.com/Avatar-Movie-Navi-Avatar-Make-Up-Kit/69341/ProductDetail.aspx?AID=10645155&PID=778652&SID=DressUPageAva

What are your tips for having a spooky Halloween party?

There are 3 things you need at your next Halloween party:Snacks. Homemade snacks are the best, so try making some homemade Halloween treats. If cooking isn’t your thing, pick up a variety of Halloween candy at the store.Scares. Put out a crawling hand or rattling coffin to surprise your guests, just be careful it’s not too terrifying! Check out these Halloween animatronics for some examples of what’s out there. (I work here and get to play with the animatronics all day. They’re so much fun!)Ambiance. Create a spooky atmosphere to get everyone excited for Halloween. Try putting dry ice in some water to make fog. (Just Google “dry ice” or “buy dry ice”, chances are a store sells it nearby. They should also have safety instructions or advice on the proper proportions.) Then find some Halloween music on YouTube or Spotify and make a playlist for the party. That’s it! Mickey's Halloween Party Florida vs Calif.?

Well since you live in California and have been to Mickeys Party before. You should just check out Floridas Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party.

At MNSSHP you enter the park and are giving a bag to collect candy at all the different candy stations through the park. People come to meet the villans that only come out during the Parties. There is an incredible parade that can only be seen at the party.

The villans mix and mingle is worth the admission price in my opioion. Its the incredible castle show starting the villans and afterwards you can meet some hard to find villans.

With the decorations and peoples costumes if makes for a fun evening.

Any ideas for games at a boy/girl Halloween party for 11 and 12 year olds?

eye bobbing in blood (paint apples to look like eyes and put them in cranberry juice
a pumpkin carving/decorating contest

a boys vs girls scavenger hunt (use ghost, pumpkin, bat, etc paper cut outs to write the clues on)

a best costume contest (with first, second, and 3 place) and give them an award (1st: 3 pieces of candie, 2nd: 2 pieces of candie, 3, 1 piece of candie

assuming that they will be served some sort of food for lunch, you could make a menu. Example:

main dish
serve bread with blood sauce and melted flesh (pizza)
fried fingers (chicken fingers)

side
salted skin peelings (potato chips)
soft bone sticks with blood (frech fries and ketchup)

dessert
human parts (cake decorated as a person)
chocolate dipped dog legs (chocolate dipped pretzels)

drinks
eyeball soup (ice tea with grapes)
bubbling witches brew (any type of soda)

Should I go to a Halloween party WITHOUT a costume?

One of my boyfriend's close friends invited us to his Halloween party, and it sounds fun, I want to go, BUT, I do not have a job right now so there is no way I can buy a costume nor do I feel OK asking anyone to spend $40+ on something I'm only going to wear once. My boyfriend said he'll get one for me but I am not letting him! He already pays for us every time we do something (leads to me feeling guilty!).

So should I go without one??? I don't want to look lame =/ Advice? Thanks!
