Crying babies and movie theaters?
Is it just TX (where I am) or everywhere? Lately, it seems like more and more people are bringing their infants to late evening R- rated movies (like action flicks). I am not insensitive to the plight of young parents wanting to see a good movie. But by the same token, I pay good money for these tickets and why should I have a bad experience because 4 women with crying infants (I kid you not, that's how many there were last night) decide that their right to see a movie with their screaming child outweighs mine to see a movie in peace. What happened to hiring a babysitter or renting a dvd? It's not my fault you have a screaming infant that you are not quieting down or taking out of the room. LOL. What do you think? Should movie theaters reimburse people if their movie is interupted (frequently) in this manner? Should parents with infants not be permitted in clearly non-family movies? Or am I just a meanie for wanting to watch a movie in peace? :)
Strict Parents I have a question?
Don't take this to harshly because I really want some good answers. Why do you do things like ban your children from watching R rated movies, give them strict curfews, or limit their video game usage? My parents let me watch R rated movies before I was four years old. They never really gave me official bedtimes, and I could always play any video games I wanted. I love my parents. I turned out great. I'm in training at Syracuse University to become a doctor and I am an active healthy person. Anytime I see families with strict rules, the children look miserable and so do the parents. The children never quite act their age (by that I mean their a step behind when it comes to self reliance). Again no harsh answers please. This has always puzzled me. I would ask my sister but Im afraid she would take it the wrong way. BTW video games really don't cause someone to commit mass murder, that notion is overrated.

Banned from movie theater help?
Me and some friends went to see a rated r movie yesterday. Two of us were 16 and one was 17 Two of our 18 year old friends bought us tickets and left While we're in their security comes and asks to check us. We cooperate but we asked why are we being checked and not the other kids in that movie as us. They dont answer our question they keep saying you cant be in there without a adult We're staying pretty calm while they walk us overe to get our money back. Then we realize they have cameras hanging around their necks But too make a long story short my friends slowly got more hostile with the people because we couldnt get 1 answer to our simple question. Then im guessing the manager came out and said shut your mouths and get out and thats hen my friend went crazy started swearing and through his popcorn on the way out. They said we we're banned from the theater. (all of us) Can they do that? Will we ever be able to go back? is telling us to shut our mouths verbal abuse? Please help!!! Give out any other advice on things we should now about pertaining to the situation

What does N****r mean. The definition of n****r is : ______________ I don't want to know what people mean to say when they say it. I want to know the real meaning. A n****r is : WHAT And why do people call other people that? For that matter, why do people like Mr Cent. ( fifty Cents) sing songs in which they often employ that word. Don't black people get offended by this when they hear his songs. Has anyone protested against Mr. Cent or other singers that use this word, and if not, then, WHY ? Is it because they are rich or because black people are scared that he will try and kill them, that it's OK for them to say this word. Do black people like to be called this way? Why do black people banalize the word, is it to make it normal and accepted to use in normal conversations? They must want everyone to use this word, right? for what reason
