After Blood Test My Right Upper Arm Mouscle Feels Week .

I feel weak after blood test?

I have been feeling ill for 3 weeks and no medicine was workings so I was told to have a blood test. I felt anxious because I'm scared of needles and blood. It was over quickly and i felt ok but since there I have felt weak and my arm hurts too. Why is this?

Is it normal to have a weak arm after a blood test?

Yes, it's entirely normal to have a weak arm. I had my blood drawn for various tests too, and there was a little bruise around the place where they drew it. When I gave blood, they also used a fairly large needle, which can lead to bruising. I don't exactly know why arms hurt after these types of things, but I do know that putting a cold pack on it helps immensely. It'll be alright in a few days. Just keep it pretty clean and don't do any heavy lifting.

Loss of hearing and weak after blood test

Hello all, I just had a blood test done and during the 5th test tube being drawn, I started to feel weak and my hearing felt as if someone was talking into a tin can and I started to feel weak. I had tunnel vision as I got up to walk out right after the tests. My loss of hearing now almost gone or the tin can effect was really worse than ever. I felt really faint at this point but kept walking on my own anyway to my car in which I felt a little better. I felt great about a hour later. Is this something to expect after giving 7 test tubes of blood?
Thank you all in advance for your answers.

Is it normal if my arm has gone numb after my first blood test?

No, this is definitely not normal. Every once in a while, a nerve may get injuried by the needle during blood draw. This might be because the phlebotomist “missed” the vein, or it might be because a nerve happened to lie on top of or close by the vein. It is important to stress that this is a very rare, but acknowledged risk of a venipuncture and may not nescessarily mean someone was at fault.Depending on the severity of the numbness I strongly advise you to seek further medical attention. Consult a neurologist when the feeling persists. In the majority of cases, the numbness will pass within a few days or weeks without any necessary treatment. If the damage to the nerve was severe, though, the numbness might last for months or years if untreated.

Why do we feel weak after donating blood?

Its more of a feeling of "lightness" than weakness. It is caused by the lowered blood sugar to the brain. Your blood sugar has lowered because the amount of blood taken also had a certain amount of blood sugar. Since it is suddenly missing, the body reacts poorly to this loss of sugar.  The symptoms include onset of nausea, headaches, shakiness, paresthesia, hunger, fatigue...and so on. However, to quickly deal with hypoglycemia directly after a substantial loss of blood, sit with your head to your knees (parallel to the floor), as this lowers your brain and facilitates the blood-flow to the brain, allowing more blood sugars to reach it quickly. However, having carbohydrate-rich foods cure this.  It will help normalize the sudden change in blood sugar and will help you feel more normal sooner. The "Weakness" you feel is due to the sudden loss of blood pressure due to the blood loss but the body compensates this loss by retaining fluid in the kidneys by concentrating the urine.

Why are the muscles in my hands and arms so weak when I first wake up in the morning, and then gradually gain strength as the day goes on?

You should go to the doctor and have thorough examination and blood test done. It most likely be something else if this not shows anything (I think that it doesn't).From my long experience this type of symptoms are related to exposition to EMFs during night rest. I am sure that are more symptoms you not recognised. Why it is happen?During sleep your body should do two things - rest and manage maintenance tasks including generation of vital energy. Both can be compromised if you are exposed to EMFs during sleep.EMFs you are exposed to is a silent but powerful enemy. Your body is not perfect and sees in them enemy like bacteria or viruses. For your protection your own defend system fights with EMFs. This fight is hopeless - nothing is changed but its drain energy from your body. The same energy you should have for properly managed next day. Also it interrupts normal maintenance routines. This makes muscles not refresh (stressed by exposition to EMFs).Your body starts recovering from this stress away from your bedroom after you wake. Very good observation. You should check symptoms of exposition to EMFs. List of exposition to EMFs symptoms is long (comprehensive list is here). Some of them are:Moderate or severe fatigue and decreased energyChronic fatigueInsomnia or waking up feeling just as tired as when you went to sleepLinks to solutions and explanation are also provided on this page. This solution is patented and proven in every case during last 17 years. There is not enough space to explain all of it. Everything is explained step by step on our website and links to practical solution are on mentioned above "Symptoms" page. You may try to move your bed to another area. If you are lucky - this may fix your problem.
