My sister makes an effort to sing along to every song. How do I tell her I hate her singing?
Here's the master plan.First, I don't know if she know she's annoying you. However, the first step is to encourage her. Everytine you hear her singing compliment her, tell her to try and go higher, or linger. Do this for a couple days or weeks, however long you can bear. This seems very counterproductive, hear me out.Next, record her singing. Make it very obvious you are recording her. Tell her you want to show your friends how talented she is.Finally, let her see the recording before you post it. This will most likely make her realize what she sounds like instantly. She will probably tell you to not post it. If she does don’t.At the end of this one of two things will have happened. She will be embarrassed and tone it down out of being self conscious. If not, then option number 2 is that she will improve. With positive reinforcement and encouraging her to push herself she will improve and become bearable. Just remember the worst thing to do is tell her to “shut it”.Hope this helps!
