Airsoft Tactical Gear Loadouts

What is your airsoft CQB gear loadout?

It’s for the most part quite similar to my regular field loadout (Field Loadout).Tru Spec Marpat Combat Shirt, with Black Water OD Green bottoms, Black Tactical boots, and shemagh (woodland based colors). My pistol holster is attached to my primary clothing belt making it the first piece of gear I put on and last piece I take off. My actual gear consists of a my usual MOLLE belt system that holds 2 rifle magazines and all 5 of my pistol mags, as well as my dump pouch, tac light, and communication system. I have a Z-Tac EVO III headset connected to my radio.Above the belt is my 6094 tactical rig. I can’t remember if it’s AWS or TMC branded. That houses my primary gear. 7 rifle magazine, primary tact light, large utility pouch, a built-in admin pouch, and hydration pouch on the back.My primary is a ICS CXP08 that’s been heavily modified internally and externally. Internally, it’s similar to my G&G GR15 (described here and here). Battery is a stick Lipo that’s hidden inside the hand guard so no need for the PEQ box.My side arm for CQB is typically the TM P226, but every so often I swap it out for the KWS KP45 Match. The size and sound is great for scaring newer and younger players.I don’t wear a helmet and my specific eye protection will vary depending on the field and weather conditions. The purpose of this loadout is to be lightweight yet still effective. If necessary, I am able to quickly remove my rig and continue being an effective force around the field thanks to the equipment on the belt system. This has come into play quite a few times when climbing through small windows or sprinting down the field. I do not carry grenades or similar devices as I don’t use them in my normal game play. The reason the drop-leg pistol holster is on my pants rather than MOLLE belt is for support and to minimize wobble while. My typical field gear replaces the 6094 rig with a H-Harness and backpack system to allow me to carry even more gear. Everything else is mostly the same.**None of the gear pictures in the images are my personal gear. As I don’t have many pictures in full gear, these pictures are only posted as visuals.

Ideas for basis of airsoft loadout....?

I'm trying to think of what to base my airsoft loadout on once I get the funds to buy my gun and equipment. I"ve been wanting to do an Irish military theme (being Irish myself), but due to Irish DPM and Irish military surplus being in very short supply, that's not much of a possibility. What are some not well known or fictional military forces that cool and interesting, maybe a bit mysterious? Or loadouts that arent' done very often but look cool when they are done?

Airsoft loadout help?

Nothing fancy really. He is wearing a Desert BDU with knee pads, a drop leg holster, a pair of boots, a plate carrier/chest rig, and a helmet and pair of goggles. All of this type of gear is available on virtually any airsoft website. Just check the tactical gear sections.

How do you create a good loadout for yourself in airsoft?

MOLLE. MOLLE. MOLLE.Seriously, start with MOLLE. Unless you are planning on playing in exactly one field and exactly one playstyle, you are going to want to change things up for the situation. This is why MOLLE was invented. I tend to swap out what I am wearing and where I am wearing it depending upon the role I am going to be playing and the weapons I am carrying.Learn to weave MOLLE. This is pretty important. You want your gear to stay exactly where you put it, and this is the way that happens. Adjust your loadout base to your body, and then make sure that the stuff that goes on it is properly attached, woven, and secured. Do not wait till you get to the field to try it out! Put your gear on, make sure you can reach all of the pouches and holsters. Make sure you can get your pistol back in the holster as smoothly and as quickly as it came out. Make sure that your mag pouches are arranged to where your hand finds the next one when the previous ones are empty. You usually want to keep your primary sidearm in the same place from loadout to loadout. I don’t, but I have muscle memory to draw from various places, so I can make that work. The rest of the gear not so much, though the dump pouch might be a problem if you keep switching where you place it.Notice I have not said a thing about uniforms, guns, or anything like that. That’s because all of that is much more subjective and I am talking about the objective here. Finally, there is the role you will be playing. As a sniper, all of your stuff is going to be on your sides or back. This is because crawling on your belly or laying prone is part of the job. Everything you carry needs to be accessible while laying flat on the ground. especially your sidearm. As a rifleman, you wind up wanting to double or even triple stack your mag pouches, especially on a field that limits hi-caps. SMG users need to be able to move fast and lightly. Etc.So, MOLLE. Don’t get locked into a single loadout, move things around and change them based on the role you are going to be playing and the situation. 10 minute indoor CQB games, 2 hour outdoor skirmishes on a small field, and 40 hours MilSims on 170 acres are all reasons why your gear needs to change between different outings.

What should I wear in CQB Airsoft?

There's an indoor airsoft field opening in my city and I dont know really how to dress for the opening. I've never really played CQB yet me and my friends just played in our woods. I was thinking about buying a Digital Camo Tactical Vest and a Full Digital Camo BDU-small. Would that work?
