Why can't I add songs to my iPod?
Helllpp! When I try to drag the songs from my library onto my iPod, it won't drag. The song I'm trying to drag flashes for a second while I try to drag it, but it won't do anything else. I don't think it's just my iTunes because I can't drag the icons on my desktop anymore either. Help help help pleeease ):
Can iTunes be set to list albums in order by year?
I'm sorry, I failed to be more specific, while my music is stored in iTunes, the listing I was referencing from from any iPod. Currently the albums are listed alphabetically. I once would remedy this with numbers before the albums, but then apple switched to a numbers last format. I would like to change the order that albums appear on my iPhone or iPod.

Should I switch from Spotify to Apple Music?
I’ve been using Spotify, then switched to Apple Music and now is switching back to Spotify. I also tried Amazon Music (don’t even think about it) and few other semi-free services like AccuRadio and Soundcloud (they are good actually, if you need a carefully selected music stream (not specific tracks) and can live with a little ads here an there).Back to Spotify vs. Apple MusicThey both have same prices for single and family subscriptions now, have pretty similar music catalogues, works both on mobile and desktop and still quite different in their approach.Apple MusicPros:Curated Human Playlists from Beats team — they are great and very diverse. My iTunes says my iPod cannot be ejected because it contains files that are in use by another aplitcation?
this happens because whe you play music direct from your ipod the music file remains in the recent played list of your computer thus never again play music directly from your ipod's drive when it is plugged into the PC. and before removing the ipod switch it off and close the itunes before removing the ipod. Remove the ipod by right clicking on the safely remove hardware icon that appears on the taskbar at the bottom right of your screen when the USB is plugged in. Follow these easy steps: 1)Confirm that all activity has completed. Normally the light on the USB drive will cease to flash. 2)Click on the USB monitor icon in the system tray of the taskbar. 3)A “Stop USB Mass Storage Device -Drive E” pop-up list should appear next to the icon. 4)Click on the pop-up list and a “Safe to Remove Hardware” windows will appear. 5)Click “OK” to close this window and then unplug the USB device. that's it....
Ipod nano 4th generation white screen?
I used it all day Friday and noticed there were some colored lines going vertically through the screen, but I could still see the album art. I turned it back on later that night and it was all white. I have tried every reset and restore attempt I have found on the internet and even restored the ipod only to find that didn't work and all my music is now gone. When I do the "hold menu and select button" thing it comes back on white with no apple logo and it beeps twice. Is it basically junk now or is there anything else I can try? Thanks
What is the best alternative to an iPod for someone who has more than 5500 songs?
The answer is, there isn't one. The market for dedicated music players died in about 2011, even for Apple. There's no money in it as the market is so small, so there is no incentive for anyone to make one.As for your problems, they sound like they are t related to iPods or iPhones in general, but are based on your situation. You say iPhones don't have the capacity but they come in 256 GB sizes now. I'm sorry but no one needs more than that for music. If your iPod is taking that long to sync 10 songs it probably is broken as that is not typical. Have you tried anything newer?The market is for smartphones and streaming music. Dedicated music players don't exist much anymore and the only good ones are sold by Apple.

Ipod Question... won't play songs in order?
My ipod has recently started playing things out of order. For instance, say I choose one specific album I want to listen to and I pick like the 5th track out of 10, it will play the 5th track as track 1, and then play the rest of the songs in any random order. I know this isn't a big deal, but I don't know why it does this and its really been bugging me, because some of my albums are meant to be played in the one specific order.
