Alice In Wonderland Style Dresses

What are some good Alice in Wonderland themed dresses?

You can always find dresses that are like Alice's, especially if you are looking at cosplay dresses. Most any website that sell Cosplay items will sell some kind of Alice in Wonderland themed items. It looks like Torrid and Hot Topic sell a few good Alice themed dresses and accessories. I find my eyes more drawn to the game series by American McGee. This is one of the dresses I like the best which has a Steampunk look to it. It can be found here: Alice Madness Returns Alice Stream Cosplay Costume Dress Custom Size Full Set One of the other dresses is the one which most reminds me of the the Disney Alice is the default dress. This dress doesn't look the best but there are better out there made by other people. This dress in particular can be found here: Alice Madness Returns Alice unfrom cosplay party costume dress 2016 The themed dresses not from the game would be like this:Which can be found here: Atelier Pierrot: Cats Tea Party Alice In Wonderland Corset Dress Gothic Lolita But then from the newer movie with Johnny Depp came this dress which was reconstructed by Steph from Salt Lake City. You can find her here: Deconstructress She is very expensive to buy from because all the dresses are handmade. She reconstructed the dress from when Alice was Um. It is also called the Red Court Dress. Currently, Steph has listed this dress at $700.00 USD. Here's the link for this dress: Alice in Wonderland Red Um Dress Recreation Costume Hope this helped!

Alice In Wonderland theme Prom Dress?

Oh, you can be more unique than that! That dress is fairly common for proms and I probably wouldn't class it as an 'Alice in Wonderland' theme dress (not that it has to be of course, but it would be nice if it was!)

My first inspiration would be the cat. A lovely striped purple dress...

My second inspiration is from the forest and flowers scenes. Something floral like these...

The next inspiration is from the mad hatter. You can wear any dress you like but add a cute hat to the outfit...

What should I wear to be Alice's sister from Alice in Wonderland?

Here is a step-by-step guide for a home-made dress:

1. Buy a knee-length dress with long sleeves in a violet colour

2. If you can't get a dress, buy a long sleeve shirt with a collar and a long skirt to your desired length in a purple/violet colour, not too dark though.

3. Use some sky blue strips of material or strips of an old blue clothing and measure it around your waist so you can tie it and have some length going down to the end of the dress/skirt.

4. Use some more for a bow-tie on your neck for extra detail

For make-up and hair styles:

1. Get the natural look with parted hair in the middle tied at the back with a strip of material (blue or purple)

2. Use rose-coloured lipstick and a bit of mascara if you like. Use as little make up as you can to look really like Alice's sister.

3. Any shoes can do but black smart shoes with a little heel will look amazing.

Bridesmaid dress search! Help please!?

Her dress is actually three different parts. First the dress itself is a knee length pink dress most likely made of taffeta or satin judging from the pictures so you could get something like this

Then she has on a multi colored petticoat under it, this link is for a childs one but it gives you the general idea.

For the best possible price for a real rainbow colored 4 layer petticoat like she is wearing under the dress in the movie, I'd suggest having it custom made by someone on a place like www.etsy.com if you make an account (its free) and post up some pictures of what you are looking for on the alchemy section, it is on the left near the bottom of the main page, you can post on there for free looking for someone to make it exactly how you want it and the price you are wanting to pay. People will then email you with offers of what they would charge, length of time etc. The other thing you could do is purchase a few different colored petticoats and just wear those but that would get very hot, and very expensive. Here is a link to a site that sells a lot of different colored ones but no multi colored with the volume you are looking for http://www.unique-vintage.com/separates-crinoline-slips-c-227_254.html?osCsid=65d2a4377601735d49a1884388f8b9c4
Good luck :)

What is up with japanese and Alice in wonderland theme?

many Japanese people find the american culture fascinating. much like how we feel about them. alice in wonderland i full of colors frilly dresses and dreams which some Japanese find a interest in also many people in japan like a style called lolitia a style of dress influence by English 1800's culture with lots of frills and dresses so its natural they'd like alice and wonderland to. plus if you think about it you can interpret alice in wonderland and a lot of messed up seeing how it's all based on dreams. like she could be crazy or something. but its all covered up in a childlike Fantasy so the japanese like to mix things up by either making it nicer or way more messed up. for instance, take alice in musicland by hatsune miku and alice human sacrifice by hatsune miku.

Which one is the better character: Dorothy from OZ or Alice from Alice in Wonderland?

Dorothy from the movie.

How too dress like a disney princess?

1- Your dress must be classy. It should preferably be longer and cover up all areas that should be covered. There are several different styles, so find the one that flatters you and makes you feel wonderful.
2- Add color to your outfits! colors should be cheery and pretty and bright. Wearing the color should make you feel perky.
3- Pick one or two features you love, and play them up. Don't wear a ton of make-up, just enough to show off your best features.
4- Choose accessories such as Rhinestones, pearls, and lace. Wear accessories to your hair such as a flower or a pretty hair ribbon.
5- Wear heels but not that high.
6- Last, Smile, smile, smile!
