Why is almost all fashion unsuitable for short women?

What you call ‘short women’ are lucky enough to have a cute term especially coined for them - petite.Fashion is what sells, and the trends are set by designers and retailers for their convenience. We just follow them.Maybe you got this impression, by watching the tall and skinny models carry off clothes so effortlessly. I am not sure if all of the actresses/models dress in the same manner, in their personal lives.Personal style is something very different, where you need to coordinate available items into an outfit that suits your personality. Fashion needs to be adapted.Stripes are in fashion, and the vertical/diagonal ones will help you.If prints are in vogue, include it just in a top or scarf, not the entire outfit. If long kurtas and cropped trousers give the impression of shorter legs, wear just below knee-length kurtis with straight pants.I see a lot of flat shoes in the market, but stick to your heels. As far as possible, match shoes to the trousers, or at least avoid a striking contrast.Crop tops should help, if you have a flat tummy. Or just wear a jacket over it.Monochromatic outfits will help, so avoid heavy contrasts in your outfits.Wear shorter hemlines, and tuck in the tops. It creates the impression of longer legs, and a waistline.

Why do women read fashion magazines which seem pretty stupid?

why are women interested in what other people doPeople are interested in what other people do. If you're not, you're an outlier. We evolved to our current state in small, hunter-gatherer tribes, and "what other people do" was a matter of life-and-death for us. Study after study has proven that we're intensely social animals. Men are no exception. They tend to gossip just as much as women do. In some cultures, men gossip in different ways from women—and they may not use magazines as tool for this purpose—but they still gossip. Unfortunately, almost all my coworkers are men. I've worked in a male dominated industry for my entire career. I'm around men all day—and have been at five different companies—and they take a constant, gossipy interest in what other people do. Both in what coworkers are doing and what celebrities and politicians are doing. Both men and women tend to be obsessed in fashions and trends. In my culture, women are generally more into clothes and cosmetics then men are, but plenty of men are interested in other sorts of fashions, including ones centered around cars and electronics. Both men and women spend huge amounts of their disposable incomes on "frivolous" things they don't need, and most are intensely interested in stuff that has nothing to do with survival or improving the world, such as movies, TV shows, entertainment sites, video games, sports, and so on. And every man and woman I've ever met has been intensely interested in his or her own opinions, so I'm not sure what you're talking about when it comes to that. Most of us care about our opinions and other people's opinions. This is, again, because we evolved as pack animals. It's our nature. Why do women read stupid magazines? You mean why do they read magazines that you find stupid? Because they have different interests from you. And, to them, their interests aren't stupid.By the way, there are lots of women who have no interest in fashion magazines.

Women's Fashion and Style: Are designer clothes only for in unattractive girls?

Oh my, come on! Designer clothes do not come with a tag of being for unattractive or attractive girls.Well, first of all, models who carry clothes on ramp are perhaps the most good-looking girls around. Well, atleast that's what you read on Tabloids. Then, again you've the most stunning Indian actors and celebrities showcasing the designer wear on all 'important' occasions like award functions, film shoots, celebrity parties et al. So, you cannot disagree with the fact that designers make clothes for women of all kinds. Well, if you'd ask if designers made clothes only for size-zero or ultra-lean girls then, maybe I'd give you a thumps-up but, I don't really think that designer clothes are for the unattractive lot in anyway. Now, coming on a personal front, I wear designer clothes on my birthdays and I don't consider myself unattractive, atleast, none of the people I've met in my life ever told that to me. So, it's all about our own preferences to adorn the clothes we'd like keeping all the crap talk of for attractive and unattractive aside! And finally, we wear clothes to compliment our bodies and personalities. And the clothes which celebrate our bodies are of the finest kind keeping the 'designer' label all away! P.S: Remember, we're all beautiful. Just realize your beauty because that is what which will make all the difference.

Double standards for men and women when it comes to fashion, on leggings.?

Leggings are considered fashionable in my opinion, but only depends on what else it is worn with. There was a post last year regarding that piece of clothing how it can be controversial when it comes to fashion.
As a guy, I do find them attractive on a woman because it shows the figure of her lower body, but some say it is inappropriate because of that. Some have also said it is considered slutty because it shows their figure even though it covers the skin, but it is because it is so skin tight that it is a better way to show off the woman's body. I also can't help it too but to think they are slutty, of course it depends on how it is worn and who wears it. The clothing itself is not the uniform of a slut. When a woman wears a top that covers her crotch and bum, I wouldn't find it to be slutty. But when a woman is wear super tight leggings and especially if it is either see through or white and you can see her thong while she is wearing a short top, then I will think that she is wearing that to draw attention. Nothing wrong with that, just admit it. And the thong underwear is another issue.
Then I hear a woman say, 'stop commenting and having problems on how we dress' Ladies, I don't care how you dress, but don't get defensive if you are dressed very provocatively and men accuse you of drawing attention. Now if you think you're a decent, modest lady and f you're going to wear a slut's uniform, you will draw the attention you deserve.
Leggings are very comfortable. I agree. As a guy I wear them when I go work out. Now I read a post the other day how women hate it when men wear leggings, but we only wear them when working out. The difference here is that men wear it when working out, it provides better muscle recovery and aerodynamic movement, its not 'gay.' Now some women wear them in public without a long top and it seems like they do it to draw attention hopefully from a hot guy so she wants to get it on or something. And when she is confronted, she is in denial saying "i only wear it for myself and its comfortable", and THAT is where I have the problem.

So my question. Ladies, who dress it for that purpose, why don't you just admit it?

Why is everything considered gay for a guy?

Gay is attraction to the same sex. Unfortunately, society considers all of the things you mentioned to be gay as well because they're stereotypes. In our society, we have prescribed gender roles for men and women, and whenever someone does something that goes against what's traditional...they're considered gay. For example, society says that only women and gay men are fashionable, so whenever a straight guy takes pride in his appearance and dresses nicely, people think he's gay just because he went against his "normal" gender role.

You can live in peace and be happy with being metrosexual, but you're probably going to have to learn how to ignore what people think. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone is going to give up the stereotypes or gender roles anywhere in the near future, so you'll probably be judged as being gay quite often during your lifetime. On the plus side, a lot of girls I'm friends with always fall for gay guys and tell me they love it when men dress nicely and take pride in their appearance. So the joke is on the judgmental people because you're going to be getting all of the women and they aren't.

Good luck and learn to ignore what people think! Their opinions don't mean anything.

What is "SHINee Style"?

They didn't really start it, but they are a very popular boyband, so many kids emulated them. It's basically colorful skinny jeans, sneakers, and tight t-shirts with jackets and other accessories. Think of those emo kids you see at the mall, but less black skull prints. Search YouTube for "Shinee - Replay" to see their music video where they have this style.

Edit: Actually, if I thought harder, their "Juliette" video would be a better example.
