The best way to handle this is the Hot Corners.Its very fast as it can be done by moving mouse cursor to a corner without any intervention of key board.Using shortcuts is always became a tricky part as you are supposed to press two or three or more keys at a time.Here comes hot corner :Hot corners are the conrers of your screen. To minimize current window along with ALL OTHERS - press Windows Key + D. Then you could maximize the window again by pressing same key combination. Actually that key combination is shortcut to show desktop.Alternate way to do the same is to press Windows Key + M for minimizing all windows and to press Windows Key+Shift Key+M for maximizing them all.To minimize current window - hold Windows Key and press down arrow key.To maximize the same window (if you did not move on to any other window) - hold Windows Key and press up arrow key.Another way is to invoke the control box menu by pressing Alt+Space Bar and then press “n” for minimize or “x” for maximize.Hope this helpsSujeevan.

How can I change minimize/maximize window size?

fairly actual so. precise-click your computer, flow to personalize. There, click the 2d button from less than the subject determination panel (Window colour). From the drop down menu, opt for the Caption Buttons merchandise, and there you may set the dimensions how vast or small you opt for it to be.

How do I open a new link in a maximized window in IE8?

Every time I open a new window from a LINK in Internet explorer 8, it opens in a box about 1/3 minimized. I'd like it maximized every time. It used to operate this way. I'm running Vista Home Premium.

I've tried all the suggestions I've found here and in Help, but they are at best temporary fixes. I posted the question before, but I don't think the people who responded read the question fully. THESE DON'T WORK after I RESTART THE PROGRAM:
* Change the window size and restart the program.
* Hold the SHIFT key while closing the program.
* Right click program from START and change window Run size from PROPERTIES
* F11
* Restore defaults

Maybe I am being stupid and need simpler directions. But before answering any of the above suggestions, please try it yourself (i.e. open new link, change to new window size, close ie8, open ie8, open a link in a new window, confirm the window size is changed).

I'll appreciate your help if you can help solve this. Thnx.

It depends on what type of Chromebook you have, on my Samsung there is a bunch of keys on the very top of the keyboardThe 5th key from left is the “Maximise Windows” key.

Windows will never let you down!...it remembers your last opened state. Maximize your window then close it. When you open it back again, will be maximized. The same will happen with any position the window is on your desktop
