What should I do, I forgot my Girlfriend's Birthday?
Lately I've been under alot of stress, mostly from relationship, between my current girlfriend and my ex, we're at the edge of breaking up. Today, it is my current girlfriends birthday, I remember that she has implied in our conversation from way before that she expect me to be the first person to tell her happy birthday, so that she will feel that she is importent to me, and I'm the one that cares about her the most. I had that in mind and wanted to be the first one to tell her happy birthday at 12:00am sharp, however, last night our phone conversation was not a very happy conversation, I was stress out again and forgot about saying happy birthday to her at 12:00am and went to sleep. Right now, after a long day of work, I got back to my hotel, called her again, during the call, I realize that it is her birthday and I forgot to say happy birthday to her, and when I finally told her happy birthday (which I know she is actually not very happy because of her work, and our relationship) she told me that she is upset because I'm the 11th person that said happy birthday to her, and she almost thought that I forgot.... which I did for almost a day... and yes, I got her a birthday gift already since last month, I gave it to her last friday because I know I am out of town this week for work and will not have a chance to give it to her on her birthday, and yes, she like it. ladies... if you are in her shoes, what can I do to make you fell better? and please note this, I always try to appear chearful to her (even though I kind of sux at it), so she does not know any of these, and I'm not trying to say that this is a good excuse, instead, I'm saying that this is where we stand. any CONSTRUCTIVE feedback and/or tips are very much appreciated....
What should i get my girlfriend for her birthday?
we've been together since 01-02-10 and her birthday is march 22nd so almost 3 months. i dont know what to get her as this is her first bday as us as a couple. i already got her a necklace for Christmas as weve been close since oct but didnt make it official till january but now im lost. Im her first boyfriend and were pretty close and comfortable with each other so i want to buy her something that shows how i care and feel about her. I cant take her out as her dad doesnt know and hes pretty old fashion and strict and id like to get her jewelry but since i got her a necklace im out of ideas. idk if a promise ring would be too early?
My girlfriend forgot my birthday.?
We have been dating for 18 months. Last year she got me a very nice card and a few small but very thoughtful things. For her birthday I was a little more extravagant (but that's just the way I am). This past Christmas we were both pretty generous and Valentines Day was pretty special too. Overall things are going well but we do have these moments where we both get a little possessive or jealous or needy and that's the root of a few short-lived stressful times. We planned a trip and I think I mentioned a few times how excited I was that we could spend my birthday together out of town. Then a couple days before the trip she asked what day my birthday was on. I thought she was joking. I said something like, you don't know??? She said, is it the 13th? I might have said , yeah-right... Anyway, fast forward to our trip and she really did in fact forget what day my birthday was on. No card. No present... nada. When I mentioned again how excited I was that we were spending my birthday together she said, tomorrow really is your birthday? I was SHOCKED, hurt and deeply saddened considering all that I thought we are to each other. I was thinking in terms of proposing in July or next Christmas. She's not a "keeper" is she??
What to get/do for my girlfriends 22nd birthday?
Make her a nice quiet romantic dinner at home. Make her her favorite food. Buy a nice bottle of wine. Buy her, her favorite flavor cake shaped like a musical instrument. Buy her a fluffy pillow shaped like a musical instrument. Make her coupons for hugs and kisses (and more). Put on some romantic music and don't forget to unplug the phone, pull the battery out of the cellular and disconnect the front door bell. Get cozy and whisper things into her ears that she wants to hear LOL. You don't need to spend a ton, or buy something fancy. If you want her to remember this birthday, make it special in the sense that she will love being with the one she loves on her special day.

Don't do anything "cliche romance" like flowers or jewelry, because your friend might think you're trying to steal her away. Something fun is always the best way to go. Gift cards aren't really thoughtful, but they're a good way to play in safe. My FAVORITE fun present idea is a "movie night pack." Get a basket and fill it with popcorn packets, a movie she might like. Or, if you aren't sure about a movie she likes, put in a Blockbuster (or whatever movie store is around you) gift card. Put candy like skittles or Mike n Ikes in there. And a fuzzy blanket. :) It's thoughtful, but it's not a gift that would make it seem like you're moving in on your friend's territory :)

My girlfriend isn't spending my birthday with me?
So my girlfriend and I have been together for almost a year now, and things have been absolutely fantastic in every way. We've never been together for each other's birthdays before though, and I'm excited for that because I think it'll be fun to do something special for each other. My 20th birthday's tomorrow, and my girlfriend just told me that she's not spending the entire day or night with me because she decided at the last minute to volunteer at a day long series of speeches that someone at our college is putting on. Upon hearing this, I felt really upset. The one person who I wanted to spend my birthday with the most has decided not to be there for it. And now I keep going back and forth wondering if I'm overreacting and if I should just wish her a really fun time and suck it up. On the flip side, the event is not important to her really, she just "thought it'd be fun". I've just never spent my birthday alone before, I'm not sure how to feel about it.
