Who is more overrated? Guns and Roses or Nirvana?
I like both, but I would have to say Gun and Roses. Those who say Nirvana is overrated have never really got into them. I used to think Nirvana was terrible, and could not understand how anyone could like them, but then I actually gave them a chance. Nirvana brought alternative rock to the mainstream, and despite being the one of the biggest bands of all time, didn't sell out. Their songs are diverse, and every album is diverse. Sure, some songs suck, but 80-90% of their songs are really good. I admit, they are sorta the beer of music, they are defiantly an acquired tasted. Guns and Roses are not that overrated either to be honest. They just didn't have the impact and influence Nirvana brought to their own respectable genres. In the end, everyone is entitled by their own opinion. There are defiantly going to be alot of fanboys on this post, immediately downvoting the opinions they dont agree with. The winner of this question will really be determined on the age of the people viewing this (the older crowd will say Nirvana is overrated, and vice versa with the younger crowd, with a few exceptions by both crowds.) You really should give Nirvana a chance though, just saying. Here are some good songs if you just want to give them a chance. Their lesser known songs are their best in my opinion.
