Am Confused To Decide My Path Help Me And Suggest Me Good Stuff /

I am very confused about my career path. Can you suggest some methods that will lead to a conclusion?

A2A so answering. And giving a blunt answer, because life is too short for misplaced diplomacy.Let's go through the options you've suggested.Writing: Don't. Looking at your question as a sample, I'm going to guess that you don't really write well. Writing is not a career that pays well unless you can indeed write well.IT Job: This is a possibility. But first you'll need to answer why should anybody hire you. You did not do well in college. You don't appear to be interested in learning Java, or SQL, or Android. There are literally lakhs of students like you out there, who are more interested in IT. Unless you're able to change something about yourself, and learning some useful skill, I don't see how/why you'll get a good job in IT.Business Startup: This is the most difficult option. And you don't have finances. And, so far, you have not listed any specific skill that you have, which would allow you to succeed in a business without finances. So it is difficult to imagine what is the kind of business you could do successfully. If you provide any specific ideas of the kind of business startup you think you could do, we could give our opinion of whether that is a good idea or not.Army: I don't know anything about it, so I'll refrain from commenting. In my opinion, you need to realize that life is tough, and the world does not owe you a job. You need to have a skill that someone is interested in. So you'll need to start working hard to acquire one such skill. You will need to "stick to one thing and achieve it." Given that you have a degree in IT, I'd suggest IT would be the easiest. Pick some language, and learn programming. I mean really learn, so that you start cracking technical interviews. This will probably take you 3-6 months if you're smart and willing to work hard. Then you can get a good IT job.

Im 18 and confused about what career path to take!!! help!?

some ideas I suggest to people are:
make a list of things you do that are relaxing to you--these are your hobbies keep these for things to do off work
Make a list of things you are good at:
make a list of things you enjoy doing:
make list of things you are not good at or frustrate you:
Make a list of things you hate doing:
now on these lists wring everything not just what you think are job related. you will be surprised what kinds of things you have to deal with on the job.
This should help you narrow down what kind of career path you should follow. If you are not good at math then you shouldn't work with medications or computer programming
if you are enjoy talking to people but hate working outside consider a job in Human Services
and so on...
brainstorming is a great way to get all the stuff bouncing around in your head out to paper.

I am confused about my career path!?

Well.

To start at the end of your question, Museum curation is not quite a viable career path for someone just out of college. It requires an immense knowledge of art and history, as well as significant skills in organizing and cataloging. I can't place my finger on a source at this second, but I believe it requires a Master's Degree in some sort of art history, followed by up to a decade of internships to learn the trade itself, years of which can be unpaid. It's a hard life.

So, failing that, the requirements you've placed on your future career are: travel, art collection, nature, inspiring events, and a lot of money. If your interests lie in art, consider becoming involved in the private side of the business. That is, art dealing, or running a gallery. It's a more capitalist field than an academic one, so the degree and training requirements are far lower. However, success is defined by how much you can profit buying and selling works of art. You'll be made or broke by your connections, and your ability to sell. I don't know much about this, beyond my college roommate's dad is involved in the scene in boston, and does very well for himself.

All I can say is, pursue your passions. If you're in dental school because you want to be wealthy, not because you enjoy medicine or helping people, you might be in the wrong field. However, yahoo answers is not the place to be deciding your career path. Mine your contacts for anyone that is involved in paths you may choose to pursue. Once you find someone, get an introduction, and ask them for an information interview, or to shadow them in their job for a day. If you think you like something, spend a summer month or two interning to get the feel of it. Hopefully you find something you like enough to make a (first) career out of.

Hi, I can totally understand your situation because I face the same situation sometimes back. And believe me there are many people who undergo this kind of issues and don’t feel too bad about it. It’s natural. When we keep on thinking our mind wanders through thousands of things and we really don’t know whether we are good at all those things. First thing try to write down your strengths, your experiences and your skill sets. Based on that take a calculated decision just don’t go by your thinking. How do I decide which career to choose when there is so much confusion in my mind?

Go with your mind. Don't listen to others. When you decide to choose a career and seek advice from your relatives or friends you will definitely going to hear this. “ Do this course, your uncle or cousin working in same field, its highly recommend and recognized in international level, so i can definitely recommend you to my company or other organization to get a good job, do it fast let's come dubai or usa or london, let's enjoy. Boom **. I am not saying you can't trust them or everyone will cheat you. But it happens to me, to my friends etc. When I choose to study Mechanical engineering from my first year itself i started hearing this from my uncle's and aunties who are staying abroad.they always says Just finish your engineering, next day you will be in dubai with a great job. It's been 3 years I completed my engineering. I am still in India. I can't blindly blame them, Because the job situation in gulf countries changed a lot. At the beginning of my engineering career a didn't listen to my mind. I just listen to others what they are saying and doing. I just try to emitate others. Most of my classmates choose for engineering, so i decided to choose that. Don't ever do it. Try to understand your passion and find it out. I know it's a difficult task to find our own passion. Most of the people including your parents may stand against your mind. So share your feelings and dreams with your parents and convince them by presenting that with confidents. Because once you can't make it out,you will be responsible and the whole world will blame you. In very career at certain point we may face great difficulties, it's natural. So at that time most of the people will blame them self for what they choose. Don't ever do that. Be strong in your dreams and just run. Moreover always be close to Almighty.I think your mind is confused due to fear of future. I am telling you, do not expect only good things in your future. Always be prepared for up and downs. So whatever you decide to choose, do it and be confident. Always try to accept failure, don't try to hide from failure.
