Once upon a time, I fell in love with a guy in another country.We were members of the same online community and I thought he was funny and quirky and intelligent. When both our marriages fell apart in the same year, we started “talking.” You know, the shoulder to cry on thing. It quickly became more than that.He was my best friend and we chatted online for hours each day. We progressed to video chats sometimes, and even phone calls. I knew every moment of his day and he knew mine and the only thing keeping us apart was distance.I made a trip to his country on business and was so excited I couldn’t stand it. I threw myself into his arms at the airport, and he distractedly patted me on the head and set me aside, barking at me to get in the car, worried about the parking and traffic.Hmnn. Not so romantic, but OK. Be practical.We stopped to get something to eat, then he vomited in a trash can outside the restaurant from nerves. Then he spent the afternoon moaning that he didn’t know what he wanted to do with his life. I traveled a couple thousand miles to see him, and he acted like I had just come across town to catch up and chat.I thought I knew everything about this man. I really did! For months, we had carried on this long distance relationship and been basically inseparable. So I paid for my own.In the week I was visiting, he broke up with me twice. Then he came to join me at an industry event, said he was going to move the car, and never came back. For all of his charm and wit, he was pretty awful at face-to-face interacting.Needless to say, this was not the man that lived in my computer. In my mind, I projected a lot of “him” into an image that wasn’t him. At all.That won’t happen to me! I really know my SO! We are soulmates!You can’t help but think that, but I guarantee you, even if things work out, it will be a severe adjustment from the person you created in your head. Unfortunately, you really can’t take someone else’s word for it… until you experience it -like with all love- you really truly believe your relationship is different, special, and amazing and you were meant to be.Reality is harsh.

What else do you like to do? Is what you do on horseback unique at all? Write about your favorite music or how you love facebook or something you do. Do you watch TV?. What do you do in your free time? What makes doing homework a drag? If you have home work and can't get it done, you must have something going for you. I used to live in the country and had horses like everyone else. If I were to right a horse story, I'd mention the fun trails we rode on or the adventures we had like running from wild boars and mountain lions or discovering a cool pond full of fish down the river. Let me guess, a 21 or 22 year old girl who was a first year student, wants your help to transfer 9.7 million dollars that belonged to her late father out of the country, and can't because she is a refugee. And weirdly she keeps adding in facts that either enforce the image that she is vulnerable (21 year old orphaned girl, alone in a refugee camp, in a country rife with political instability); or encourage you to trust her (hard-working student, father a rich man, probably with the title of Doctor); or try to push the religion angle by talking about a church camp, or mentioning God a lot.You have a few options here.1. Transfer the money to her. And then wait a week until she contacts you again asking for more money to sort out some difficulty in getting travel documents. And then wait a bit longer until she contacts you again needing more money to help her out because of another difficulty. And repeat ad infinitum until you either run out of money, or decide that actually in fact this is a scam, and that you'll never see the money, and that she'll (if it is even a "she") continue to come up with excuses to get money out of you.2. Transfer the money to her or provide your bank account details. Wait a few days until someone uses your details to transfer all the money out of your account.3. Ignore the message because it is a scam.Only one of the above options does not involve you loosing your money.This kind of 419 scam (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nig... ) has been dubbed the "Senegal refugee scam" or the "Senegal Sweetheart scam" , as it always appears to be from a young female from Senegal. How to become more country (without being a poser)?
Ive went threw the same thing. Wear whatever you want. If the people around you judge you then its on them. You can not live you life or dress how you want to and be worried about what people think. If they think you are a poser then they obviously don't know you. and what they think should not matter. If you truly do spend your time in the country It would be silly to be glammed up and be in cloths you would not want to ruin. I say wear the flannel or the plaid if you want. What I do is I wear the cloths I want to when im at home (in the country) but I still have nicer-ish cloths I will wear when I go out..but they are still country baced if that makes any sense. they arnt just jeans and a flannel with my boots. its more like jeans and my boots and a shirt that is still neutral colored and not blinged out. it still has a country feel to it.
