::Is Fidel Castro a dictator or a hero?I don’t know much about politic but I do like to hear some opinion from the people around the world. Thank you.::I don’t think this question can be answered with an either/or .I mean, he was definitely a dictator (if you win every election from 1959 to 2008, without any plausible alternative, well…) but for some people he was a hero.And maybe that’s because he was not a caricature, neither a card-carrying villain nor a hero with bad publicity, but a man of immense will, the will to win and prevail.In any case, he is dead. I don’t know if History will absolve him, but definitely he has entered History books.

When did the Democrats and Republicans officially switch names, and how was this done?
I’ve seen several democrats here say the republicans and democrats changed names, that the modern day Democratic Party was once called the Republican Party and vice versa. I can’t seem to find any information about the parties ever switching names however. Can someone provide more information please?
