Am I Allowed To Pay Some One To Help Me Find A Referral For Joining The Military.

Can someone please help me on re-enlisting into the military?

I would say that your odds of getting back in are pretty slim.

You have an RE-3P, which is the generic discharge for medical reasons, and you will need a waiver to enter any branch. Now that is possible, I myself left the Marines with a 3P and was able to later join the Army.

However, I already had a record of good service, so getting the waiver was simply a matter of showing my physical injuries had healed enough that I could return to service. I had completed Basic Training, had finished my MOS school, and had served another 9 years.

You have the problem that you never finished any of your training. It is possible to get a waiver to join, but I think it will be hard to find a recruiter in this time of military drawdown who would be willing to take the chance when for every 1 in your situation there are 10 others without such a background.

I do wish you luck however.

Added: I would say your best bet would likely be the National Guard, especially if your state is not meeting it's enlistment quotas. The Guard has often had the best chance to get a waiver, however it also has a problem of "waiver hell", where they sit on a desk unprocessed for years.

Going from AD Air Force to ANG with Referral EPR? Recruiters help?

So a while back I got an Art. 15 and got put on a UIF. Now my Art. 15 has expired however my UIF is still there and should expire August 2015. After my unfortunate situation when my EPR time came, It was decided that I would get a "Referral" EPR. Despite the mistakes I made in the past and the consecuences that came along with them I was good enough to get a 4. Now I am in the QFRB (Rollbacks) and most likely will be getting forced out by September 29th of this year. My plan is to get out, go guard and go to college. I'm stationed in Alaska but would like to go guard in Kansas. Ive talked to a recruiter and It seems like I qualify except for my UIF and Referral EPR. I havent had a chance to talk to him yet due to my schedule but I asked him what I ask you now... Is there anything that can help/ waive the fact that I have those 2 items in my file? And if not what can I do or how long should I wait in order to be able to join the guard? I have my leadership willing to help me out in any way they can, however, I need to know If this is a BIG issue or perhaphs just a letter from my commander could help?

Turn to E2 with one referral in us army?

Hey, I enlisted in the ARMY as a 88m and is waiting to be shipped out in a couple of months. Is it true that if you get 1 referral in the U.S. ARMY, you get advanced to E2 before basic? Cause I got one referral so far and is likely the only one ill get cause almost no here that I know wants to join and my reqruiter only told me that I need 2 ppl to get to E3. but my book says 1 referral=E2 ...2ppl or more=E3..Im not asking this cause its for the money, Im asking cause I graduated highschool last year and because I got nothing with my life I decided to join the army to do my part in serving this country and I always had interests in this branch and I figured it would give me a boost if I jumped up an E or 2. Im working on the future soldiers thing also

Can my national guard recuiter help me join air national guard instead or do I need a new recuiter?

All the recruiters are seperate. Army National Guard, Air National Guard, Army Reserve, Air Force Reserve, etc. When i talked to the National Guard recruiter, it turned out I should have hit up someone else for Officer programs vs. Enlisted even. I only got hooked up with the Air Guard recruiter via referral from an old member of my unit when I was venting on social media. I still am slightly curious about what Air Force Reserve is about or would have had, but haven't pursued contacting them.I have seen active duty recruiters cooperate some between services, but that was strictly informal and worked because they're colocated. Guard and Reserve don't usually have even that going. I spent two years casually seeking information from our local Navy recruiters about rejoining before a Reserve recruiter from 500 miles away independently called me and ended up with me signing on.

Tricare for military spouse?

If your Primary Care Manager is at a MTF (Military Treatment Facility) you will need a referral to go to a civilian doctor off base. You cannot just go to anyone it has to be approved by Tricare first. Once it is approved it will be paid for. If you go without a referral then you will pay out of pocket. If ou want to have more options for care and going to a civilian provider then go with Standard. You pay a yearly deductible and a co-pay for each visit but you do not necessarily need a referral.

Eye exams they will pay for 1 each year if you wear glasses, every 2 years if you don't. Sometimes you can be seen on base in locations and no problems, other times you go off base, pay for it and then get a refund.

Dental IS NOT free to the family. The AD member has an amount deducted each month from his pay for Tricare Dental. You go to a civilian dentist and get 2 free cleanings a year. Then up to 80% coverage on work done, max of $1200 a year. Ortho is only for those under 23 and is max at $1500 covered.
