Am I Considered Anorexic If

Am I considered anorexic even if I'm aware of what I'm doing?

According to my doctor and my family my ideal weight is 125 lbs at 5'1" (im a mesomorph, I have always weighed above average), but my weight is currently 110 lbs and my doctor doesn't want me to lose any more weight. Personally I'm not satisfied with my body, underweight or not, I'm not happy with it so I want to lose more weight. But I'm not starving myself, and I rarely do cardio, but I lift a lot of weights and excesivly do calisthenics all day long. My goal is to build muscle and burn a little body fat and have toned abs, NOT to look skinny. At the moment I look bony (rib cage showing, clavicle, hip bones), and I hate it, I'm skinny fat, so im trying to build muscle to even it out. I made the mistake of not eating enough calories while lifting so I lost a lot of muscle mass. Is this still considered anorexia since I intentionally made myself underweight even if I'm trying to build muscle and look fit? I don't want to look bony. I want to be slimmer with muscle.

Currently my sizes are 0 -1 in juniors and 00 in womans. So my family is worried. With my mesomorph frame I have always been around a size 3 even at 140 lbs, my muscle mass made me look lean, so naturally I admit I'm supposed to weigh more.

5,2 ft , what weight is considered anorexic?

If you can see your bones, eat!

Is 800 calories a day considered anorexic?

I actually really need advice/answers. Please help-

I think I am retarded- I am 150 pounds and 5'4- so yes, a little bigger. Just in my abs.

I am trying to loose weight, mainly so I can get back to running to improve my speed. My weight has held me back because while I was running, I would eat a lot of carbs to keep going.

But now (as in the past week/ few weeks) I run only about 15 minutes a day, and then do intense weight lifting work outs and then ab workouts to focus on shedding the stomach fat off.

I think I eat about 800 calories a day- But people say I should eat 1200. If I eat 1200 I won't be exerting as many calories as I am taking in each day, so that just sounds stupid to me If I have to loose weight. I don't feel dizzy, and I still workout. I eat healthy foods only. no junk food. My typical eating would be..

Breakfast- Oatmeal w/banana
water water water
snack- large apple
water water water, carrots carrots carrots - baby carotts about 15-20 a day.

dinner- 2 egg omlett w/ 1/2 tomato, green onion, cheese, salt, pepper and WATER

after my workout I drink whey protein 4 oz.

So whats up? Is that okay? I don't feel like I am over doing my self, It isn't like I am running 4 miles a day ( though I wish I were) because I am eating less.... So if I really MUST increase my calories where could I improve with keeping the calories LOW? Trust me, I am not going for anorexia, which is why I am asking- I want to be freaking healthy!!!!!!!!!

correction- I have been healthy for so long. I want to LOOK as healthy as I know I am! THANKS!!

Is eating 1000 calories a day considered anorexic?

well 800 calories a day is the minimum but still it's not healthy to eat so little. You should get more calories in your diet because if your exercising right then your metabolism should be just fine and you wouldn't have to worry about eating much less and gaining weight.

Trying getting more calories in your diet in a span of six meals a day because:

1) Benefits metabolism
2) You'll have energy
3) Also look great

Am I considered anorexic if i weigh 110 pounds and im 26?

Anorexic is more about your eating habits than a specific weight. As long as you are eating right and not skipping meals constantly, you should be fine.

If I eat 150 calories/day, am I considered anorexic?

I've always been this fatty girl with a gorgeous face and I'm tired of being labeled like this. I have 1.62 cm and a month ago I was 82 kilos=181 pounds. I couldn't fit in anything. So I started eating healthy, eating a lot of fruits and vegetables and it worked, I lost about 8 kilos=17 pounds. And 6 days ago, I started eating just 150 calories/day. I only ate one fruit at 10am, an orange, an apple or strawberries, bananas. And it worked. I lost another 10 pounds. I am feeling pretty good, I am not hungry but sometimes I would just eat half a bag of chocolate crisps. But I can't. I have to lose weight because I am totally sure I would feel better and I could do things I couldn't do before. Plus, no one likes fat people. I went to a trip to another country and an old man called me "FATTIE". I tried to hide the shame, but that made me want to lose weight even more. It feels so good to be able to wear clothes that used to fit me.
I drink a lot of water, about 3-4 liters/day.
What do you think? Tell me your opinion. It will be helpful.
Thanks,
Marie

Am i considered anorexic because i dont eat lunch or breakfast?

You should maybe looe if you want to maximum 4 pounds.

I myself have the same bmi as you have.

Im 12
5''1
90-91 pounds (depends when i eat 91 when i dont 90)

I eat normal breakfast small lunch and no dinner. Im not considered anorexic so i don't think you are.

You are anorexic if:

You try to thow up - bad
take medication to loose weight - bad
only drink water and/or gum - not really bad
and sport extremely - depends
look in mirror and fantazise VERY FAT self image- bad

If you do one of them it's not THAT bad but all i really bad

If you want to loose weight drink a lot of water and chew gum to feel you're eating omething. You could also take KID FRIENDLY VITAMIN pills these are especcially made for kids and had a lot of vitamins your body needs!

Are you considered anorexic if you only eat zero calorie foods? Why or why not?

Firstly, there’s no such thing as zero calorie foods and you’d more likely be considered lifeless if you did.Secondly, I would say it depends on your motives. Anorexia is obviously an eating disorder driven by mentality and the purposeful decision to eat low calorie meals in order to lose weight Etc. so, if that was your driving force, then yes you would likely be considered to have an eating disorder. That being said, if you ate low calorie meals because they consisted of you genuine favourite foods and you eat regularly, had a positive mindset Etc. describing you as someone with an eating disorder may spark debate since to have an eating disorder you must undergo disordered eating which, arguably, the latter does not entail. In no way am I condoning this diet, only trying to see it from various lights. I would not recommend eating only low calorie foods as you would likely spiral into have an ED and a very unhappy mentality - trust me on this one. I am not a doctor but I have experienced anorexia and it’s not something you want to pursue.Apologies for the dark twist lol but hope this helped/provided a varied insight!
