Am I eating too much protein?

So I started lifting weight again after a year break.
I m a 20 yo, 180 pounds and 6'3
I'm trying to bulk up.

I had 9 small eggs for the 1st meal around 60g
2 chicken breasts for the second meal. around 100g?
16 0z steaks for the last meal. around 120g
(and a bunch of mixed veggies and fruit in between meals)

I'm not too sure if my estimate is accurate though, If so,I realized that I'm eating too much protein, I used to eat a lot less protein when I was working out in highschool. The thing is, I don't feel like I'm eating too much, my appetite sky rocketed since I started lifting weight again. :/

Is too much protein a bad thing?

i have been recently eating a protein bar everyday. and my friend who runs on the XC team with me (who is the #1 boy on the team, i am the #1 girl) is drinking a special protein drink. my coach recommend me drink a protein drink, but eating a protein bar and drinking a protein drink a day a little too much protein for a girl, well let alone anyone? or should i just stick to the drink, except after a race, where i would eat both to replenish my mussels. but i am an avid runner, and more muscular than most girls. what do you think? my parents are not athletes at all, and have no clue, and i don't want to go to my coach, knowing she will tell me the wrong thing. she has been known to do so. thanks!

Do I eat too many protein bars?

I'm a 24 year old healthy female. I eat healthy, drink lots of water, sleep enough, and do not smoke or drink. I run 4-6 times a week; each run is anywhere from 2-4 miles. I also do yoga twice a week. So I'm fairly active! I'm 5'7" 128 pounds.

My diet is full of oatmeal, Greek yoghurt, fruits, vegetables, salads, nuts and nut butters, soups, sandwiches, etc. I'm always hungry and I've become obsessed with thinkThin protein bars. They have 240 calories, 20g protein, 9g fat, 12g sugar alcohols. I eat these protein bars about 5 times a week.

I am not a vegetarian but I eat little meat. Usually one serving 2-3 times a week. My main sources of protein are: Greek yoghurt, nuts and nut butters, vegetarian "burgers" (Morning Star), and cheese. So eating a thinkThin or Luna protein bar is the easiest way for me to get 20g of protein. I'm just concerned I may be eating them too often. What do you think? I'm not gaining any weight, I'm just thinking in terms of long-term health.

How much protein should I be eating on rest days (from working out)?

I went to a lecture from a sports fitness instructor and nutritionist who worked with elite pro athletes and body builders. He was doing research with between 1 g protein per kilo of body weight to 1 g / pound of body weight. This is probably way too much with the excess being burned to the point where some athletes had to lay in bed under a fan to cool off at night. Interestingly he did teach that proportions of macro nutrients should be in the same 40–30–30 ratio that I recommend. The difference is in how many total calories you want to consume. Obviously those in training need more. Decide how many total calories that you want to consume daily and get 40% of those calories from protein on all days. The other 60% will come from carbs and fats but remember that fats have twice the calories / gram as proteins or carbs.

Can eating TOO much Protein cause Body Odor?

Hi I started to exercise January of Last year and I ate chicken, whey protein and oat meal everyday for four months. I began to notice my friends and classmates saying that I smell bad around the month of April. I did everything possible to have a good (God like) hygiene, and stopped eating protein all together. No garlic, curry ,onions, or dairy products anymore. But even today I have a funky smell to me (like sweat even about an hour after taking a shower). I have tried various deodrants, soaps, and body sprays, even went to two doctors (endocronologists) who were of no help.

MY QUESTIONS:
1)So can eating excess protein (Everyday) might have cause
some disease inside me?

2)Can colon cleanse help my body odor?(safefy)

3)Can eating vitamin B, magnesium tablets, chorolophyll
tablets, and zinc tablets help?

What happens if you take too much protein?

It can only be bad if you consume mass amounts of it all of the time. Taking too much protein does not help you as much as you think. Your body can usually only digest about 50g of protein at a time. Taking 177g on one given day will not harm you, however you need to watch taking too much all of the time because your body has to get rid of it somehow and it has to work extra hard to get rid of it. Just keep working out and taking protein in normal amounts and you WILL build muscle.

How many grams of protein should you eat each day?

There's no single answer to this question, and your ideal protein intake will depend on your activity level and whether you are trying to gain or lose weight. Some say that too much protein can contribute to joint pain, but it is generally accepted that active individuals looking to build muscle can safely consume 1 gram of protein for every pound of body weight. Despite the plethora of fad diets out there, the most proven technique for good health is eating a good balance of proteins, carbs, and healthy fats. I'd recommend a total calorie intake to manage the weight you want, and try to aim for 40-50% of calories from protein, 20-30% from carbs and the remainder from healthy fats (try to avoid excessive amount of saturated fat).
