I live in Atlanta and a townhome development is going up right next to me and they start building at 7am waking me up every day. I want to know if this is legal or not. And a bonus question is what can I do about it. Thanks.
Is the view of bestiality illegal??
Can you even believe that in MA the ACT of bestiality is a serious crime and the punishment is UP TO TWENTY YEARS IN PRISON!?! Yep, sadly is is. And the law regulating this is written in the SEXUAL CONDUCT statutes and not in the ANIMAL WELFARE statutes which is where laws like this WOULD be written if they were supposed be there to "protect" animals. They are there ONLY to regulate sexual behavior which if between consenting parties SHOULD NOT be regulated! And YES an animal can consent to sex....with body language just like we do....and so if someone cares for and understands an animal the sex is a MUTUAL thing and should not be against the law. Now as far as WATCHING that type of porn? The internet is still free (thankfully), and so watching it cannot be regulated. However, as one answerer here says, CLEAR YOUR CACHE because if the police come and seize a computer (which they will often do these days if you are under investigation for ANY crime) any browsing history can and WILL be used against you if even just to say, "Look at what this guy has been looking at! See, he has a low sense of morality and so MUST have committed that crime." As far as DOWNLOADING and POSSESSING that type of porn? That depends upon your local laws and how they define what IS pornographic. It is a pretty safe bet that no matter WHERE you live in MA the local laws will in fact deem images or videos depicting bestiality as pornographic, so be sure any are kept on an encrypted drive.

She could be 12 and you could date as long as you weren't having sex or anything else.
Is it legal to disable a remote kill switch in a car that you are financing?
I am a finance manager for a car dealership. So, I can tell you what's going to happen. One of two things. 1) The minute you tamper with that device the engine control module will be disabled and you will have a dead vehicle. Or, 2) The device will notify the dealer that it has been tampered with. In EITHER case, the GPS locator, that has been hidden on the vehicle in a place you will never find will tell the dealer exactly where the car is so they can come and get it. Now, here's a question for you: Do you really think that the people who make these units are so dumb that they haven't figured out that people will try to do this, and haven't built in fail-safes to let the dealer know when someone has monkeyed with the thing? Also, if you DO monkey with it, the dealer is going to "call" the note and demand immediate payment IN FULL for the entire amount of the note. Don't believe me? Read your contract. It's in there.
(Alabama) Can a 16 year old legally have sex with someone almost twice her age?
Okay so, my friend Sierra and I were Skyping just a few minutes before I asked this question. She's originally from Alabama, born and raised, but we became friends in the 6th grade when she moved up here (in Iowa) to live with her mother for awhile. She moved back shortly after, but I still see her during the summer. Anyway, I'm losing my train of thought lol but!! She has this "boyfriend," his name is Cameron. He's 26 years old, and apparently they've known each other since she was a kindergartener and he was a 6th grader. They started dating when she was 14-15 and had sex when she was 16 years old. She told me this just minutes ago and I admit I flipped out. He's almost twice her age, with an 11 year age gap and it's really bugging me because she says she's in love... I'm not jealous, just concerned because I don't feel like it's safe or even LEGAL for her to be having sex with someone his age. Is there a website or something I can go to and find out if this is okay? I mean, Sierra is a really smart girl and has much better things going for her life if she'd stay away from Cameron, but if he makes her happy then oh well, that's my friend and I'll support her.(: But, is it legal for the two of them to be having sex? It doesn't seem right to me...especially because he's near 30. And is there anyway I could try to convince her to hold off on the sex, at least until she's 18 or so? Dating during a separation in GA... legal?
My spouse and I are separated and there is no chance of us getting back together. We live at separate residences, everything is down on paper, etc... is it LEGAL for us to see other people. I'm not asking for opinions on religious values, morals, etc... I am just asking the legalities...

The illegalities come up when you mess with reporting requirements.FIRST, if you enter the U.S. or depart from the U.S. with more than $10,000 in cash (or its equivalent - in Euros or gold bars or some other readily spendable currency) you must report the fact of what you are importing or exporting to Customs and Border Protection (on a convenient form an officer will give you; at land crossings you will undoubtedly see a sign warning you of the reporting requirements). Willfully failing to do so is a felony.As an aside to this, many other countries have similar reporting requirements, so when you land or leave, you may have to declare your cash when you arrive or depart that country. I’m told jail in some of those countries is a bitch.SECOND: if you deposit or withdraw more that $10,000 in cash (or its equivalent) from any financial institution (bank, credit union, brokerage house, casino, etc.), the institution is required to report the transaction to the Treasury. If you try to “structure” your transactions so the bank won’t know about your transaction and thus won’t report it, that, too, is a felony. Example: you want to deposit $18,000 in cash so you deposit $9,000 at branch A and $9,000 at branch B an hour or a day later.
