No - it just means that they've narrowed down the applications to people they want to see. They could be interviewing 20 people. Dress smartly, make eye contact with the interviewer(s), be polite and friendly, thank the person(s) for their time at the end. Good luck :)
I have an interview at a golf course tomorrow, what are they likely to ask?
Though they may ask some technical (greens keeping) questions, they will probably just checking you out, getting an idea of your work ethic, your experience, reliability, etc. Be confident (not cocky) and let them know how much you'd like to further your career in greens keeping. Don't let the fact that you are still studying be a distraction, instead, let them know how much you enjoy it and how you hope to apply what you are learning.
Would you go to an interview w/laryngitis?
There could be more in this situation than is presented here. Is the decision going to be made immediately? Does missing the interview as scheduled, mean that your application is simply out of the running, regardless of the reason? Laryngitis can come in many forms, from simply losing ones voice ( due to screaming at a sports event for instance) or do to being very ill with a contagious and harmfull illness. Simply having laryngitis alone, may not be a sufficient cause to miss out on a desired job if the interviewer agrees to be exposed to whatever you may have, and agrees to work with the difficulty of communicating clearly. However, there is also the possibility that you are stepping into a situation where overbearing and extremely rigid rules and enforcement are the norm. This could be a big red flag that is worth observing. This kind of response from an interviewer could be a very big clue about the kind of environment you are considering signing on with. Your question is: Would I go? No. For several reasons. I don't shout at sports or other events, so if I have laryngitis it is due to illness. If I do not feel well, and cannot speak well I will not represent myself well in many aspects. I am extremely opposed to rigid authoritarian and judgemental harsh environments. I am also not interested in working with criminals of any age. So the real question is: What else do you know about this situation that you have not shared? Do you really want this job? After you examine the answer to the first question, and then answer the second for yourself, you will have your answer. My answer might make you unemployed.
What to expect at a McDonalds Interview?
Well first off i think you should dress casual.. nd be super friendly.. at mcdonalds..they care more about your personality because thats what they are basically looking for.. a real people person.. yeah they are supposed to inteview you individually to really get to know you.. but orientations are in group which is after interview.. ...it depends on the person interviewing and how desperatly they need new workers.... i know i got hired right after my interview.. but most times they will contact you afterwards... and if they dont you can call back after a few weeks to find out.... .. pretty much she asked me alot about school.. since im only 15.. bcuz she wanted to make sure that working wont make me fall behind.. and they want to make sure you live near so if they ever need you in a hurry you can get there fast and how often and what hours you prefer to work and stuff like that..since your 16 only they should understand you have school still and will fit your schedule into it.. just remember to be really friendly..smile and give moderate eyecontact.. just to prove your a nice people person and tell them that you can be pretty flexible with the hours.. .....Good Luckā„..

I am 16 years old and I have my first ever job interview with McDonalds on Monday. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect, especially with the On Job Evalutation. What should I wear? Kmart job interview this afternoon...?
Hi, I have a few questions about kmart. First of all, I have an interview at the local kmart this afternoon.. I have heard a lot of people get an interview and then get scheduled a second interview.. is that likely to happen? I am looking to get hired on the spot, am I going to have to go through this long process as well just to get a job at KMART? It seems a little ridiculous to me, although I'm willing to do whatever it takes since I am in desperate need of a job.. What should I wear? Is a polo shirt with black skinny jeans and nice sperry topsiders good? And lastly, what am I most likely to be asked during the interview? and what can I say or do to make them want me over other applicants? Thanks for the help
