Am I Most Likely To Be Over Weight

Are a lot of women willing to date overweight men?

To be fair, there is no women that I know is willing to date an overweight guy. There are some concerns:1. People who are overweight may not lead a healthy lifestyle. They tend to eat tons of unhealthy food and they barely work out. Many health issues might appear as a result. I assume that girls may be worried what if their lifestyle is influenced by their boyfriends'. I mean, we would feel more than happy if it is a positive influence, but would avoid to be impacted negatively.2. Appearance also weighs a lot. I don't want to be too judgemental, but let's face up to the fact, no matter how handsome you are, it would be overshadowed by your big size. For females, often times, we could tell if we have the feelings for this guy at the first sight. I'm not talking about those females who are into males with a big size. Instead, I'm speaking for the average females that I know of. We would rather date a regular-size guy with a regular looking, than a big-size guy with a good looking.3. Personality. I guess there are some exceptions when the overweight guy has a beautiful heart and personality. He treats the girl so well that the girl feels extremely touched. They might end up being together after a while. While this is not common to see, girls in that situation might feel stressed due to others' judgements. We are living in a world where regular-size is regarded as healthy and lovable. But this is exactly right in regard to your own lifelong health. Why don't you try to lose some weight so as to stay fitness? And then, the question you proposed would not be a question any more.4. Wealth. When you are flipping through the news worldwide, you might come across some stories about couples with a slim girl and an overweight guy. Normally, the guy turns out to be affluent and it is likely that he has had a marriage before. I would not say that these girls are just after the guys' wealth, but how many of them are merely out of love? This is the thing to think about. Having said that, I reckon if you were rich enough, you would not have even bothered to ask this question. Don't take it wrong, every one has something that makes them deserve to be loved. Just want to say, for guys who are overweight, dating a girl who are not overweight would be a tough thing.

Anyone noticed that asians are more likely to be overweight in America? Why?

In the last 10 years, breast size for the average Japanese woman has gone from a B cup to a C cup because of the influence of International foods and lifestyles.

McDonalds, KFC, Taco Bell... These franchises rise in number directly correlates in the rise in body mass of Japanese women in Japan.

So it is not surprising that an American Lifestyle causes American people of Asian heritage to be just like the rest of America.

I'm looking for the article I read about this, but I'm having a hard time locating it... Google is coming up with a LOT of "Off Topic" hits when I searched "Asian Women Increased Breast Size Due to Diet".

I'll let you guess how many hits are porn... Sigh...

Are short or tall people more likely to be overweight? Why?

I am not an expert but i heard that short people are because their portions must be smaller. For example, a tall person, let's say 6' 1" is more likely to need  more calories just to sustain 1800-2200?Whereas folks who are 5'2" can't take in that much without gaining. Make sense? Then, if you are a social person and eating similarly to your cohorts, you're likely to gain weight, I would think.

I weigh about 400 pounds. Am I overweight?

For reference, this dude is almost 7 foot tall and 400 some pound, bad ass looking guy, isn’t he?.He is very tall and he is a big man. He most likely ( may be!) takes some serious unpronounceable stuff and pump iron on regular basis and he can clean up large plates of food….he is also genetically gifted with very large frame. He is on leased time….When he walks he creates ripples in the air around. He is big man. For added effects and intimidation factors, he is also tattooed. His innards are on overdrive. He too may collapse sooner or later. If you don't look anything like this guy, then:Not a medical opinion:Yes you are very overweight in advanced stages of obesity. Let's assume you are about 6 foot tall and 400 pound.Your blood pressure may be critically high with any standards. You may be already diabetic and most likely you have very little stamina. Your mid- section and joints most likely are inflamed and you have trouble getting up, walking around and for sure you have trouble running.Your nutrition most likely is all about stuff from processed food section and most likely you enjoy drinking sodas and eating big fast food items such as triple cheeseburgers, commercial pizza, triple hot dogs and and your favorite candy bar is most likely the usual popular stuff. You can eat a lot.You most likely spend plenty of time in the bathroom and for sure you have no love life. You may even have other addictions other than junk food, such as alcohol, tobacco, prescription drugs,…..All the above stuff are purely speculations…..If not, you must be at least 7 or 8 foot tall. I seriously suggest you seek medical attention as soon as possible. You may also have a chronic, unattended medical condition unbeknownst to you and not your fault at all.Good luck to you fellow human. I wish you the best.Edit: fixed bad spelling..

Is it true that most women with PCOS are overweight?

being overweight is one of the gazillion symptoms of pcos. what happens is the androgen hormone levels are out of wack to put it simply. and women will have mid body weight gain much like males do. there is not 1 typical case of pcos. some women are thin, but that's not the norm. metformin is a diabetic drug. a lot of pcos women also have what is called insulin resistance. what happens is when we eat our insulin levels rise and trigger the release of glucose which causes the insulin level to drop. insulin resistance is where your body fails to recognize normal levels of insulin in your system and eventually could release too much glucose and cause the insulin level to become dangerously low. this happens over time. basically your pancreas gets confused and overworked. this stresses other organs too and causes general hormone confusion which can also lead to fertility problems. eggs don't release right, periods don't start or don't stop. and overtime with a high level of glucose and low insulin you can become type 2 diabetic. the imbalance of these hormones in your system with all the other confused and imbalanced hormone levels cause your body to not digest food correctly and can lead to weight gain. if you're thin you probably don't have insulin reistance and taking the metformin would be not only unnecessary but dangerous. honestly there's a whole bunch more to it but it would take most of the answer page. basically common signs of pcos are overweight, not having a regular period or one at all, even heavy long periods are a sign. also male pattern hair growth, male secondary sexual characteristics such as facial hair, abnormally hairy arms, stomaches, etc....basically your hair falls out where you want to keep it and grows where you don't. insulin resistance, cysts on your ovaries due to nonovulation, endometrial hyperplasia due to not having a regular monthly cycle and in severe cases endometrial hyperplasia that leads to pre or cancerous unterine lining. there are about a thousand other symptoms and someone with pcos can have as few as 1 or all of those symptoms. and lucky me i have most of them! right down to the pre cancerous endometrial hyperplasia that has resulted in an hysterectomy. but that's more to misdiagnoses for too many years. if you have more questions please feel free to email me.

Are autistic people more likely to be skinny/fat?

I am a 20 year old male with an inability to pretend to be neurotypical (the ability to pretend to be able to do so is what most NT people refer to as “high functioning”) and I have been fat my entire life. I’m 5′8′’ and I weigh 256lbs (however, I’m probably not as fat as you’re thinking because of it being a fair amount of muscle). I have been diagnosed with anorexia, B&P and bulimia. For a while, it was believed for a while that women with eating disorders probably just had ASD, and even now there are patterns scarily similar in both men and women when it comes to autism and eating disorders! But as a man I will say this. I as an autistic man find that other autistic men tend to be overweight, as poking fun at ourselves is an easy way to make friends with other men, who then in turn make fun of us for how we look. My older sibling who is a female who ALSO has autism and an inability to mask it like myself is also overweight, due to a binge eating disorder. Then there’s the “mouth feel” of food. A lot of the time all I can eat that is substantial is hardboiled eggs, potatoes, lettuce and plain chicken. That’s it. Because that’s all that doesn’t make me feel like literally ripping all the skin off the insides of my cheeks and removing my tongue. Yes it’s that serious. So I mostly subsist off of food that’s high in sodium and high in sugar (think TV dinners and the like)TL;DR: Yes. Autistic people are more prone to being fat/skinny than neurotypical people or individuals with autism who are better at acting NT, because we’re more prone to eating disorders and intentional starvation from “bad mouth feels”.

Why are a lot of vegetarians overweight?

Many vegetarian foods are high in energy and an unhealthy veggie diet can look like any other unhealthy diet - full of processed foods high in saturated fat, salt and sugar. To maintain a healthy weight on a veggie diet is the same as another diet, you need to watch your portion sizes and opt for plenty of plant-based foods. If you don’t plan a vegetarian diet well then, eliminating meat could result in a lower intake of iron in your diet.Dieters should think about including plenty of plant-based foods that are high in this mineral such as beans, pulses, green veggies, tofu, nuts and sprouted beans. You should also include a wide variety of plant-proteins in your diet to get a good mix of amino acids (nuts, beans, pulses, eggs, soya and quoin).“Omega 3 could also be an issue as you will not be eating any oily fish. You can get a little omega 3 from plant foods such as green vegetables and nuts (especially walnuts) but their conversion in the body is very poor.“I would recommend a vegetarian-based omega 3 supplement such as Healthspan Veg-Omega 3.”But is being vegetarian healthier than eating meat?If you follow a well planned vegetarian diet there are definitely health benefits to being a vegetarian.Research shows that a varied vegetarian diet contains less saturated fat and more folate, fibre, antioxidants and carotenoids.Vegetarians have also been found to have a lower incidence obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes.
