Am I Ok To Do Slimming World With The 60 Day Insanity Challenge

Can I lose 10 pounds per month or more with Insanity? I'm 27, 5'9" and weight 150 pounds.

I once made a £10 bet with two different friends that I could lose 10lbs ... In one week!Just to show how the best way to lose weight is to train more and eat less and show them that there is no excuse.I made it from 196.6lbs to 186.2lbs in 7 days. By hitting cardio twice a day for one hour (300 calories minimum in each session)  and eating nothing else but Chicken/Steak/Fish and mixed vegetables 3 times a day. I starved my body of nutrients and essential vitamins ... Yet my body got tighter every 24hrs.This is something I would NOT recommend! I just did it to show these two friends who claimed "weight loss is impossible" and how they had "tried everything" ... Just how quickly you can lose weight (I would love to say lose fat but by doing no weights and having  restricted calories, I lost muscle as well) ... This was a crash diet!I did Tabata during this time which is BY FAR my favourite form of HIIT!  The answer to your question is yes! It is 100% possible! You can argue black vs white but when it comes down to it, if you want to get leaner, train more and eat less!

How much of saturated fat is ok in a day?!?

Saturated fat should not constitute more than 10% of your daily calories. There are 9 calories per gram of fat. So, for example, if you are consuming 2000 calories a day, you should not be eating food containing more than 200cals worth of fat, ie 200/9 = no more than 22g saturated fat (from animal products).

100g chicken breast with no skin contains about 2.5g saturated fat. A glass of full cream milk contains around 9.5g of saturated fat and 1 teaspoon of butter contains 5g saturated fat.

No diet should be fat free but try to stick to health fats, such as polyunsaturated, olive oil, avocadoes and nuts. They have been shown to reduce bad LDL cholesterol. However, they contain same amount of calories as saturated fat.

What are the health effects of a 60-day water fast?

I'm not a doctor, but I've done several 5-day water fasts. I'm 32, 6'3", 195 lbs. Fairly athletic. I can tell you, my results (from only 5 days) were absolutely mind-blowing. Water-fasting is a very eye-opening experience. I cannot imagine how amazing a 30/60/90 day fast would be. Of course, to be healthy and safe, you'll have to occasionally supplement with a very small intake of fresh, raw, organic, low-calorie foods or you'll enter starvation. After 5 days, I lost 25 lbs. All my senses were noticeably heightened from the detox. I had much less mucous in my nose and throat. My nasal passages were more open more often. I had much less body/joint aches, if at all. I had greater elasticity in my muscles, and everything...feels...amazing. Your blood is cleaner, so it can hold more oxygen/nutrients. Breathing is more satisfying. Skin sensations are much, much more intense. Blankets, hugs, hot showers, sleep, sex - become cozier than ever.Because of detox, you may experience mental fogginess, irritability, extreme boredom, fatigue, food cravings, headaches.I've always found my patience gets surprisingly better. I care more about sincerity, honesty, morals, people in general. You will eventually (quickly, depending on your initial health/build) have a lot of energy. With detox, it may be jittery, uncomfortable energy.Your stomach will shrink, a LOT. To where one or 2 bananas causes a stretching sensation in your stomach.Other things happen, like it resets your metabolism, strengthens your immune system, helps you (post-detox) think faster, because the energy it takes you to digest goes back into nervous system and brain function, I believe. You will lose a ton of fat from your body. You may also lose muscle mass after a while.I'm prone to severe manic depression. When fasting (or eating very cleanly), I'll experience sudden bursts of intense euphoria, where it feels as though some cosmic connection is being made, and I have a deep knowing that everything IS, and IS GOING TO BE just fine. Most people think water fasting is insane and dangerous. In 9.9 out of 10 cases, I've found that the nay-sayer hasn't tried it, or knows nothing (AY ALL) about it. It can be dangerous, but it is very healthy as long as your body/mind is in a position to undergo it, and you do your research, maybe consult a doctor, and listen to your body.

What is the best diet for losing 30 Kg in 6 months?

Losing 30 kgs in 6 months is possible. But it's more easier said then done. To really achieve it you have to be very diciplined with what you eat and maintain high intensity while you are working out in the gym. And I must tell you that, doing it for 6 months straight won't gonna be easy!!! If you are not deterred yet then you can continue reading this post. You have to understand the fact that weight loss will be easy when you start off, but with time it will be more and more difficult. So aim to loose 8kg in 1st month, 6kg each in next two, 4kg in 4th month & 3kg each in last two. Keep monitoring your weight regularly and try to stay on track.Coming to diet, I don't want to hard-code a diet chart as it won't be feasible to follow. I will just try to give some guidelines. 1. Have 5-6 meals a day of equal portion and with equal time interval.2. Total food you have in a day should consist of 40% protein, 40% crabs & 20% fats. Plan your meals accordingly.3. Choose cooked or raw food items over packed food items.4. Cut out sugar from your diet totally. The only source of sugar in your diet should be fruits.5. Have fruits only after 2 months. For 1st and 2nd month you should stay away from fruits and resort only to raw edible vegetable instead.6. If you feel like snacking then have crackers biscuit, almond, cashew nuts & peanut instead of cookies, donuts & cupcakes.7. Do not to eat anything heavy after 8pm. More specifically crab rich food after that time.8. Eating at restaurants is a strict no. But if you find it too difficult to follow then treat your taste buds once in a month.9. Lastly drink a lot of water, ideally 3-4 litres per day.It will be tuff but standing in front of the mirror and seeing a transformed you will surely act as a source of motivation.HAPPY WEIGHT LOSING!!! Thanks
