Am I On The Right Track

Am I on the right track to get a 6 pack abs?

I want to know if I'm on the right track. I'm 18 and relatively skinny, (ecto-mesomorph).
I'm 5'7" and 132-135lbs. I usually eat egg whites in the morning, apples, for sure whole grains and a multi vitamin. I don't eat fast food at all! I try to eat raw nuts whenever I want a snack. Minimum 8 glasses of water a day, for lunch & dinner I usually eat the leanest steak I can get or chicken. (for a snack I sometimes eat salmon or tuna) I drink V8 and stay away from refines grains & sugars. For rice I eat brown & red beans. I work out regularly, jog 2-3 times a week. The days I don't jog a do calisthenics. I work out abs 2-3 times a week depending on the timing and never when I'm sore. (ex. Sun-Wed-Sat). I only do crunches and lying leg raises. I've been doing it for 2 weeks. I'm not impatient, I'll wait months if a have to, good things come with hard work. Can I obtain the 6 pack I want this way? What can I do to improve my routine?

Am I on the right track?

Congratulations on your break but you are on the wrong track. Do you know why you lost money the first few times? Did you foresee the Chinese market troubles and profit from them shrewdly? If not, then it's definitely just luck. Unless you work for a large bank with access to the best tools and methods, stay away from trading. Learn to invest, not to trade. Learn to value assets, not price them based on momentum.

PharmD. Am I on the right track? PCAT?

I just got into pharmacy school at Oklahoma University and I know where your coming from. In my case, your grades and your PCAT score and references get you the interview. The Interview is where you get to show who you are, and they really look past those paper scores and look at you as a person. My GPA was average, and well my PCAT scores were lower then average. Do you work in a pharmacy? If not GET ON THAT! Get a good recomendation from a pharmacist, preferably one that went to the school you want to go to. that helps.

The PCAT, well honestly it sucks, no lie. People prepare differently. I borrowed a KAPLAN book and studied that. FYI the books out there make the chemistry out to be so much easier then it actually is. Its like 60% Organic Chem 1 and then the rest basic Chemistry. Also with the Math, brush up on your Calc 1. Thats what got me there. The Bio, well my advice is to read and study a couple prep book's bio sections cause its pretty intense, and don't forget to brush up or study some Botany cause it creeps in there also.

Start studying early, and dont kill yourself cramming the month before. Also make sure to find out how your target school handles retaking the test. I know OU takes your latest score, not your best one, so keep that in mind if you bank on taking it a couple times.

If you start early and prepare its not that scary, just long. any other questions you can email me

Good luck!

Am I on the right track to get into Berkeley?

I've been worrying a lot about this lately. I currently have a total GPA of 4.033 but is says here on my transcript that my Cal Grant GPA is 3.83? But I'm going into Junior year. I'm club president of Red Cross club, lacrosse jv team, volunteer at a reading program, and that is it. Doesn't seem a lot though.
Should I be worrying about getting in? I know it's not much info because I haven't taken the SAT's yet. but am I on the right track?
Thank you!

Am I on the right track with this rhetoric question?

Kennedy begins his speech using the first person "I" and then quickly moves to the plural "we." Why does he do this? What does he gain by using "we" instead of "I"? Who is the "we" in Kennedy's speech? Toward the end of the speech he uses the second person, addressing his audience directly. Who is the "you" here? What does he gain by this move from the plural to the singular?

My answer: By saying "we" it brings him closer to the audience. It makes the audience realize that they're all one, that they're not different. When he starts saying "you" he is directly addressing the audience and letting them know that they're part of this and in charge of what can be done.
