Am I Pretty If Yes Can I Become A Model

Am i pretty enough to become a model?

I am 14 and 5"5 and Im a UK size 8 but working on getting thinner.
And i guess in the stereotyping way, People see me as emo/scene.
I have been thinking about getting into Alternative modelling because a German friend who is a model told me that he thinks i could be one if i wanted to.
My boyfriend also says i am pretty enough (but he would say that lol)
I was offered a modelling opportunity by Diesel Modelling 2 years ago, but i had to go and pay £200 to get some professional shots taken then they would decide if i looked good enough, it seemed like a scam and it was in London which is too far from where i live. (Aberdeenshire)
Here are some pics of me:

What do you think?
And also; what would i have to do to become an alternative model? Would i have to get a portfolio? I was thinking about applying to model some alternative clothes and see where it goes from there?
Thankss for answers (:

Am I pretty enough to become a model do you think?

I've asked this question once, but I just wanted a few more opinions from other people I haven't heard from. I'm 13 years old. And i was wondering whether I am pretty enough to become a model or not. I'm not very tall, but I heard all models dont have to be really tall, just most of them are more likely to have a better chance of it. So here are a few photos below. They are just taken by myself though. Please don't say anything hurtful or negative just a simple yes or not. Or maybe some advice would be appreciated. Some are edited, some not. Thanks for your help!

Can a girl who is 5‘2“ become a model?

hi i am a participant of Mr & Miss Delhi Ncr 2018 India Contest .Any one can become a model. You don't have to be tall, beautiful, slim, tall, and photogenic, know how to act etc. You may require some of the above to be on the cover of the magazine, but you may also have to attain certain skills talents or features that can make you famous; Your Legs, Hands and Eyes are just a few examples. Are all movie stars gorgeous or tall? Being short does not mean you can't be model, it means if you can't do runway modeling, it does not limit you to other types of modeling. Do you have to be pretty or tall to be a model?

Pretty? Since when are models pretty? Clothes designers are all gay, they want the models to look like men. Most of them do. Yech!! Models are gross. Tall is good though, most of them are tall for women.

My statement isn't about models faces, but the fact that the majority of them have no hips, bum or breasts. All prerequisites for being a woman in my mind.

Can a 5-foot girl become a model?

Yes, but not just any 5 foot girl.A 5 foot girl will probably never grace any serious runway, no matter how mean her walk is, but she can definitely work in lifestyle/commercial if her proportions are correct. So, what would be required for a short person to be a model is a list of 3 things: 1, a naturally slim face/body. Slim faces / physiques work in modeling be because they tend to be rarer (therefore more coveted) than normal or round faces. 2, their physique needs to be within a 5% margin of the venus index waist to hip ratio. I could explain that here, but it's an easy Google search. It's the reason Marilyn Monroe was so beautiful. She had the venus index wait to hip ratio to a 1% margin, and the golden ratio all over her face. And that brings me to 3, and a proportionately beautiful face. There are books on what makes a face attractive or porpotionate written by plastic surgeons, but it's another simple Google search :golden ratio face and it breaks it all down. And lastly, this helps but won't guarantee anything, is a great personality. Being bubbly, happy, witty, funny, or otherwise bitingly interesting usually translates to great facial expressions. Photographers love this and will overlook height to make an incredibly interesting subject their muse, over a tall, boring one.I hope this helps.

Would you let your beautiful teen daughter become a model?

I would let my beautiful teenager, regardless of gender, become a model, actress, research assistant, telemarketer, competitive athlete, nuclear physicist or anything else she or he wanted to pursue. When I was a teen, my parents strongly discouraged any and all activities along the lines of modeling (not that I was ever asked to do any), cheerleading, jazz dancing, or sorority-joining. Which kind of made me feel bad. My other sisters had no such restrictions, but because I was the "smart one" these kind of things were supposedly "below me." I did them anyway (well, except for the modeling part) despite certain sanctions (mostly financial, the biggest one being my dad's refusal to pay for the first year of college or allow me to speak of/wear any sorority-related stuff in their house).I don't know if this attitude made me more or less concerned about superficial pursuits; probably more, since it was forbidden fruit. If my daughter wanted to model, I would encourage but also supervise her to make sure she wasn't being hoodwinked by any shady agents or photographers. Of course, I'd also emphasize education and schoolwork. Overall, I would hope my daughter would be more inclined toward academic pursuits, but don't all parents wish for that? But I would never tell her that modeling is off-limits, even if I thought it was superficial and a waste of her time and talents. Besides, it can be a good way to earn extra money, and there are a lot of types of modeling work available (high-fashion is just one of them). Heck, I might even hire her for an ad campaign if she was good enough. :)

Has anyone told you to try out modeling or acting due to your pretty face?

Thanks for the A2A.Well, when I was in India , I was never even called beautiful. Only when I moved to the US , did I realize that I can be considered attractive.I have never been suggested that I do modelling or acting and I think I know why :I am 5 feet tall. If I ever take up modelling , I would look like a misplaced 10 year old kid.My facial features are highly disproportionate.I cannot act. The last time I acted , I ended up putting the stage on fire (not a metaphor guys).I am extremely camera shy. The only expression I can make when the camera is pointed at me, is to smile. That's the extent of my acting.I guess I am just content being called beautiful or pretty or cute or whatever the slang is now-a-days !
