Am I Still A Child Or An Adult

Is 18 a kid or an adult?

legally an adult but depending on the situation 18 can still be a child

I am 16. Am I still child?

Im turning 16 tomorrow and I was wondering am I still considered a child? Im pretty immature for a 16 year old girl. I still like to watch cartoons and often play little kid games with my little brother. I am no where near all grown up. I still act like im like 11 sometimes. I don't drive, or have a job like some kids my age do. Overall im much more like a child then an adult so I was just wondering, am I still a child?

Ok, im 15. am i an adult or still a child?

You are still a child, enjoy it while you can.

Im 13 am i still a child?

You are still a child. Yet your becoming an adult. That balance in between is often overwhelming!! But do what you want. If you want to play with barbies, go for it. I played with barbies until I was 16 years old, and sometimes even now enjoy sitting down with my daughter and playing with her barbies with her. There's nothing wrong with that as long as your not obsessed! :) I know fully grown mature adults who like Disney movies - to heck with what anyone says about that one. Movies are movies, they're fun for all ages.

Be who you want to be. Don't force yourself to act all grown up if your not feeling like the part. Be who you are. That's what matters the most.

I am 14 yeas old am i still a child?

I am 14 years old and in year 10 at secondary school. I know 0 to 13 is a child and i know 13 to 20 is a teenager. When i was in year 7 i was 11 years old and felt quite grown up but now i am in year ten and i 14 years old i look at the year 7's and i realise now how young i was,i just couldn't see it at the time. I wonder if i am doing the same thing now i am in year ten thinking i'm all rown up and then when i'm say 18 i'll look back to year ten and realise how young i still was.Am i still very young? I know everyone is different some 14 year olds are more mature than others but as a whole, when you hear someones 14 do you think that is more towards a young child or more towards adulthood?

Is a 17 year old considered as a child or a adult?

A child. Age of majority differs in different places, but the youngest is 18, and ranges up to 21.

I'm 23. Why can't I act and think as an adult?

I can't say much about this since I'm only 21 but I think that as long as you are able to function properly in society by working and/or doing well in school, you should be fine. If you are having a hard time maintaining relationships, that is another subject and doesn't really have to do with being an adult. Are you immature in the sense that you do childish things? Or do you think you're immature because you aren't as good at socializing with people? If you aren't doing anything annoying, then you don't have a problem. 23 years old doesn't mean you have to become philosophical and know how to handle every situation. From your description, your biggest problems are the people you are hanging out with you. Why are they mocking you? This is not how they should treat you.I don't know about you but, I am in no hurry to become what people think I should be. I am mature in the sense that I am a hardworker, study well, and I am compassionate and open minded. Despite this, I don't take things as serious as an "adult" would and I don't always provide insightful conversation about the meaning of life- what ever that means.I suggest you find some new friends who appreciate your personality. There is no correct way to act like an adult- just make sure you take care of your responsibilities. I think I won't feel like an adult until I'm 30 years old and I have no problem with that. What is an adult anyways?
